Question - Worth getting TBL?

So. I have 12+ accounts currently active.

"Main" team:- these are all 105, two of the accounts are currently gold, the tank and for sentimental reasons one other. The tank is getting close to full EoK AA's now.
"Farm" team: - these are mostly 95, and in the process of all getting PL'd to that level. I'm quite happy for these guys to slowly get to 105 and then farm EoK for rares, etc.

I eventually intend to get main team the next expansion (possibly not all at once, though, unless I win the lottery). But of course the team will have 10 levels to catch up. And I suspect by the time I do that (I level very slowly somehow), the expansion after that will be on the cards!

So I was thinking I could get TBL for my "Main" tank, level up to 106 (a few kills since they're stuck at 99%), get conflagrant gear, stick at 106 and then grind out RoS AA's (or at least the "best" ones). THEN maybe level the tank (only) to 110.

Waste of time/money or not? The rest of the team wouldn't be able to join my tank for anything else, for example, so my team would still be rocking EoK for the most part.

I mean, you could probably get TBL on just the tank, get 106-110 or whatever, and then pick up rotting gear in TBL while you wait... but if you're going to do that, I might just wait until the expansion goes 1/2 price later this summer/early fall.

For your RoS AA grinding on the tank, aren't many of the 'best' ones level-capped? If so, you really can't get all of them at 106.

I didn't know they'd do that. Seems like an option to me. I'm guessing they do that just before the new one comes out? The last expansion I bought was Prophecy of Ro!

Yea, DBG will offer the previous expansion (in this case, TBL) for half price starting sometime late summer-ish, and then when the next expansion goes up for pre-order they will no longer allow you to buy TBL (unless you want to pay full price.... which would be dumb because you could pre-order the next expansion and get both).

I guess whether it's worth it depends on the period of time between the two. If it's only 2 months, I might as well wait.

You can go back to last year and get a feel for when they made RoS half off. I seem to recall it being an okay deal back then. With the next expansion probably going to lvl 115, you might want to wait and just splurge for that (IMO).
