im going to share how i PL'd my wizard because i got excellent results.

characters used -
75sk 16khp (grouped with clr)
75clr 11k mana (grouped with sk)
55-60 wizard (UNGROUPED!)
this can be done with lower level tank/clr.

this was done in griegs end, just outside the servitor of luclin room there is a small hall with 2 doors and 1 hallway and no mobs, i set up in the corner that sits back a tad, i chose this spot because the mobs are higher level and there is a shitload that are close by for pulls.

step 1: set the tank up, make sure he does NOT have a weapon equipped because of repost, load your AE taunt and direct taunt spells, buff up with any pure hp buffs and skinspike potions (i kept DI on tank at all times, it can get rough if you pull 30+)
step 2: buff your cleric and load you best HoT spell, and a fast casting heal incase of agro (i usually just keep a HoT going on tank, worked fine)
step 3: load your wizard twink his POint Blank AE spells (RAIN spells are no good) winds of gelid and jvylls wave of heat / cold are good.

now go pull with your tank, i usually try to count out 30 mobs per pull, i pull them into the corner because tank gets a ton of pushback, and i put wizard right behind the mobs so the PBAE hits all mobs, as soon as tank gets to the corner with mobs i drop a Heal over time and a AE taunt spell, then i cast 2 more AE taunts and switch to wizard and pump off AE's till the mobs drop. usually takes around 10 wiz ae's to drop em.
rinse and repeat.

on average in a 3 hour grind i get 40 AA (when it was a hotzone) now its not a hotzone so you lose the 30%? bonus so you might get 30 or so aa for 3 hours if you pull as fast and many as i do.

- this can be done with other classes if you have AE spells or you pick and choose 1 mob at a time and damage them all, buts its no where near as fast.
- you may also use this same setup but in a different zone that is now a hotzone, just look for lower hp mobs and your set

im sure this won be able to help a bunch of people, but it may help a few.
enjoy =)

works well in Acrylia Caverns (new hotzone), new bot went from 34 to 57 in about 1 hour.
usually 3 levels per pull, 2 levels per pull in the 50's
i suggest bringing at least a bag of skinspike potions (because of chain dispell) and set your fellowship to the grandmaster skinspikes.

note: the mobs also dispell your fellowship effect, run about 20 paces out of campfire range and then back in to reset it.

if you are power leveling a melee bot and have access to the elemental planes gimp him in to loot a coral hilted tulwar and your set.
ranger twinks also have access to a PBAE proc weap, the name escapes me but its droppable and procs word of pain AE, and i think it drops in howling stones

I do this with a 75 pally just using Ward of Tunare alone and 30+ mobs I pull from the Courtyard to Scarlet and throw on the ole' Coral Hilted Tulwar.

For Powerlevelin a warrior/sk/zerker i would use Flreshripper;

for pl'n a bard Blade of fiery lamentations;

for mage or wizzy Gloves of Fire.

For pally you can get the thunder runed great sword out of kael even tho it is an uber rare drop. You would probably end up with a full suit of dorf quest armor before ya got the sword.

You need to use a AE spell that has limitless targets. IE anything thats green in your spell bar. Green = AE arounds caster Limitless targets. Purple = AE around target up to 3 targets, Orange = Rain 3 targets once or 2 targets 3 times.

Hate to contradict another player... but:

Green spell gems are TARGETTED AE's (4-5 maximum targets)

Orange are rain 3 waves of damage (I've seen as many as 6 damage messages from first wave of rain damage and then no more waves)

Purple gems are the Point-Blank AE's... they have no target limits... only a small range around the caster.
