I've currently been living in frontier mountains about got all my group at 110 looking for a new place to go. I have all expansions except the newest one. Would like to upgrade my armor a bit and get some more aa before buying new expansion on all my accounts. Any suggestions?

you can use the ToV T1 gear at 110 - they are tradable including the "stones" you need to make the items --- likely very cheap on your bazaar --- search for snowbound

okay ill check that out. Do you have any suggestions on where I could go next to xp? Currently im only getting like 200-250 aa / day in frontier mountains. Maybe I just need all my spells + more gear to kill faster looks like im killing about 70 mobs/hr i duno if thats good or bad.

OT, Sathir's Tomb, Gorowyn, HS - all these are real good AAs, you can do like 100 aa an hour with a fresh 110 group with ToV T1 gear

Howling Stones. Zone in via Overthere, Levi and Invis, float off the Southeast side of the platform and down into the basement. There is the occasional roamer but for the most part its safe, especially once you start clearing. There are two different hallways and four or five named mobs that can spawn... You will get 4 to 5 AA's per kill.

There is a blob named in the basement who will snare your puller. You'll want to avoid him if possible

Also, if you have tbl, make sure that you take your toons there to get your spells, including the evolving spell for everyone. Zone in is right in PoT.

awesome I'll try howling stones out is that same expansion as frontier mountains? I've not done anything past that yet. my tank is 190k hp if that matters current group is sk/clr/ench/bst/wiz/mage sound ok?

It will be a little tough but i think you will be ok. What is your AC on your tank? Think mine had about 5k ac when I first started grinding there.

Really, only one way to know for sure. There are some flat spots up on the wall of the basement, pop a campfire.

5268 ac with shield out. i assume i should just keep shield out while macroing since its safer. with 2h only 4200ac

You'll be fine. I pull with a monk and have a bard incase i get more then one, the doorways can be difficult to single pull without one, your chanter will be handy.

it's RoS but it's unlocked to all accounts. Overthere named drop lore nonprestige gear as well. Between ToV armor and nonvis from OT ive been gearing up my farming group that way.
Howling stones is mostly undead too so its a nice boon for clerics and paladins.

Gnome Memorial Mountain (GMM) is another viable option. Go to the south end of the zone and there are plenty of orcs to kill. There is some good gear and weapon drops. (Just no visible armor). There is a very nice Type 7 aug with good AC that drops from a named.

I'll definitely have to go try that out next Thank you!

So I've been in howling stones most of the day had a few deaths but starting to get things smoothed out now. Just a few questions first was it 4-5aa per kill when under 4k or with lotd or something cause in a full group I'm only getting 1.5~ aa per kill. 2nd is there any way to avoid the embalming goo? I have 0 issue killing it.. if I could get it back to camp alive. But the snare is just way too nasty and kills my tank before I'm anywhere near my group. Current pull radius is 1200 I'm in SE corner as suggested.

I was getting 5 AA's per kill last week (during the XP bonus) but after that the kills were 4 to 5 AA per kill. I box a full group so "maybe" that is with the full group bonus but I don't think it would be 1.5 to 2 AA without a full group... that seems really low for that zone. I started hanging out there cause I thought it was better then FM and I was tired of grinding in FM. This is the HS from the RoS expansion. The mobs should be conning between lvl 110 and 113.

I have only seen the embalming goo about 3 times, He snared my monk once (dead), but the rest of the time I was able hit it with the AA Distance Strike and run back to my group. How many in your group?

I like empyr or Skyfire mountains the best.

Skyfire is so perfect because no one else is ever in there. It’s one of my favorite zones, because you can hide in plain sight. Turn on myseq and collect the mob trails, then go to the dark areas. An enchanters spell threshold rune helps with the fireballs, but there are also areas where the drakes done go.

The new Skyfire is where I PL toons. As you said, almost always empty, endless mobs, and fast kills.

over my time there i got my hp up to 270k but had a few issues. 1. at the drop id get that goo that snares and would kill my tank. or my tank would be pulling and accidentaly run thru the portal back up to top and get stuck.

I use fm to like 100 then 100 to 105 chardok 105 to 110 ot..

Don't camp where they path is easiest solution. You could customize your macro/puller to fetch them, but I haven't seen anybody share code for that.

They don't path in the caves, near the undead, just north of OT zone or by the NE corner where the RoS purchased port lands you. There are a few other pockets that work, but you can still aggro them on pull runs.
