Question - What interface do you use?

I am getting tired of default EQ interface and looking for a change anyone got some suggestions on a good layout?

I think the default UI is fine just depends on what you do with it.

I use sparxx http://www.eqinterface.com/downloads/fileinfo.php?id=4620 but not in their layout. I have it customized a bit to fit my screensize. Img of my layout is in the screenshot thread.

I use bits and pieces I found ovre the years. Some pieces has MQ content in them, some doesnt

Downside is that some of the pieces are outdated, but I have no idea how to update them :-(

Dont suppose we have any UI wizards that wanna take on project? :-)

I never learned the new symbols after they changed the bufficons, so my buffs need to have names like I have below

My target box shows level of target, which class and the distance to it

Spellgems show how many casts of each spell you can do with current mana

and casting bar shows remaining time until you finish casting the spell

think thats pretty much it

It looks nice and clean! rather than mine thats all over the place.

There are no xml setting its all the default UI except the player window. I will write a quick description on how to set it up ina bit.

in EQ dir, the file UI_playername_server.ini , will save the layout I believe

yes but a lot toon info can be there as well depending on your hot keys
