WARNING GM MONITORING MM INSTANCES!

Just got 4 accounts banned for 3 days, doin the MM Missions, warping alt activating 6000, then warping to the mob, tappin him, rinse repeat, got busted, the gm says he witnessed us doing it, i argued and played it off, but anyway you guys be careful out there
he says he watched the mission completely, he said there wasnt enough dead bodies, says you have to kill your way completely through and have deadbodies as proof
So dont use any warps whatsoever, try to keep it lowkey

Forgot to post the funny part, when we finished the mission and were gettin ready to loot the chest, my wife who is the loot whore, opened the chest and no shit, the damn GM Popped well looked like out of the chest, she literally freaked out, i had to check her seat to see if she left a pee trail, so aside from the issues with the GM, the way he went about i have to admit was funny as hell:p

i been warping throu these missions about 10-15 mins per mission.

if they monitoring the missions, this sucks. because 10-15 mins per mission, 5AAs, was pretty decent exp.

gonna run them all tomorrow, lets see if gonna get the ban stick up my arse.

Ok, I hate ReAddressing Issues, but after i got back in game after suspension, i was told i probably have something called a soul mark? or something like that, it supposedly identifies you to other GM's as a Hacker and to be watched closely, not sure if that is a bunch of Horse Shit or not, so figure i would ask others, i was figuring to just keep a low profile and mind my p&q's im not sure if i want to be drove to the edge of Paranoia Madness over a stupid game, any help and infor would be appreciated

Yes, once you're caught, your account is Soul Marked. Basically, they will check in on you from time to time to make sure there's nothing shady. It also tells them that if you get caught again, that a suspension won't work, which = bye bye account. I'd be careful if I were you. /foilhat

yes gm's can give you a mark that basically states you were caught doing shady things keep an eye on this guy. Pretty good chance someone reported you to begin with usually someone you know unfortunately. definately be cautious for a while imo.

And GM's don't monitor instances randomly, but those have been such a hot item, it wouldn't take much to include a tool to alert when something funny is going on in them. There has been a massive outcry about the amount of exploiting going on in those, and they said they are going to be paying them close attention for a while.

A warp hack in a zone that doesn't even allow change in movement speed would be fairly easy to automatically pick up. If distanceTraveled/Time > maxWeThinkItShouldBe then alert dev.

they do monitor, just lost my account and it was for warping in FH. they didn't even send the curtesy email to tell me. just kicked me off and banned!:mad:

Eeek, yeah, FH is a bad spot. They've been watching it for years due to the overabundance of macros being run there.

They give you a 3 day suspension for warp killing, and on top of that exploiting and they give me a 6 day suspension for afk macroing.

this sucks.

My chars were afk/exping using macros and mercs in one of the hotzones. They sat there for 3-4 weeks in a row. I just checked on them once a day to spend AAs. Once I even left town for a week to vacation, they were exping all that time. Ofcourse AAs were maxed and one of the chars vent from 81 to 84


oh and the hotzone had 30+ people on primetime

just wondering, is the account "soul marked" or the character? IE can you transfer to a new account and loose it?

I have heard its the account not the char so if you transfer it you will be ok But you lose your veteran aa

it is the account. all character on an account have an accoutn identifier.. the soul mark goes against the account.
