test server is down atm.is anyone else having issues with their macroquest not working? using on test server and it wont update and ive searched the forums for info but havent found anything about the patchday update?

here was a msg from brainiac in the mq-development discord about why it is taking longer than usual.
when dbg makes more than just "updates", sometimes there are large reworks that have to take place.
fortunately brain is pretty damn good at what he does

Assuming, of course, EQ devs will actually care and make changes. They didn't change for the Collection bug and stayed active until the true-up patch.
Yea, the bug report threads have been locked since before the patch. It really appears they don't care or are too incompetent to address the issue. The mind-boggling part though? This was supposed to be a true-up patch to what was live. Isn't this a "copy/paste" job? How do you screw that up?This is much worse though.. this is game breaking.. you can't even log in without getting lagged out with your re-rewarding of achs.. and then when you log out and back, it RE-re-resets..
and not a single acknowledgement of the issue by DBG on either forums or in their discord channels..

A blessing in disguise of being spoiled enough that I refuse to even log in these days without a working copy of MQ. Says something about the state of the game and the tools they stubbornly refuse to provide, but that's for another thread.Ok looks like they repatched and things seem back to normal.. however.. warning to those who log in.. if you logged in at least once after yesterday's patch, you'll have all your AA's reset and will have to spend damn near 30min if you have a semi completed toon, re-claiming your rewards and spending AA's.. and deleting lore items for the now duplicate ones..
At least its not doing it over and over every time you camp out now.. just the FIRST time you log in...

Edit: IF you were one of the lucky ones and held off , didnt log in , your toon will be intact and not have to deal with this nonsense.... I logged my main in, got tied down with it, but alot of my boxes that I never logged in, were all spared..
Oh yeah! I loved getting those heroic stats to 86/95 and getting the extra 860 attack! This year has brought some of the craziest bugs to the test server. First the awesome collections EXP bug and now the AA bugtheir mess up is an easy reward, that bug allowed a player to raise heroic aa as well as farm aa if you had enough previous prog etc done ... i was able to max out aa on 24 toons before they "repaired" lol. gotta love the test server. all i had to do today after they had their "fix" was delete a couple of lore items and reclaim old rewards. I'm not really sure why people were so bent outta shape ... it was a gift horse

as you can see from the previous above messages, the test update (eq side) has had a few failures - so waiting for stability before doing the work for mq is probably a good idea
my favorite reply to people complaining in gen chat about bugs is simply:
"Welcome to Test!"
I love you guys! freaking maniacs yall are!mq has updated test - but rg has a build error. we're working on getting it fixed and will have it build asap

Got all excited when I saw the changes pushed in the git spam on discord. Then depressed when I saw no build yet lol. Thanks for everything yall do. I know it must not be easy trying to keep up with the test servers patch schedule as is. And probably gets annoying at points too. Like it annoys me sometimes and I play on it regularly lol.
