sweet thanks, no i dont need it open all the time but i liked having it open for when i do need it. with that command i can now just open it when needed vs having it open all the time

Hi, when i try updating very vanilla using the update button in the launcher it says it cant as eq has some files locked but eq isnt running. I logged out and totally rebooted the pc, even steam isnt running, just one browser window with redguides and the redguides launcher

this isn't an eq patch error.

this means something is using/holding files

this might mean antivirus or something like file syncing software like 1-drive --- check those
