So our cleric keeps endlessly rebuffing our tank. We have to turn Buffs to 0 because she just keeps OOM'ing herself for no reason.

Any thoughts?

Assuming the tank is playing their own character, kiss probably isn't updating the tanks current buffs to the file kiss uses to determine what buffs are still on. One simple solution is to just go into the file and add the buff to the character ID associated with that character (in the MQ window it'll even tell you their ID when you try to buff it). After that, once the buff falls, it generally corrects itself.

If it's your tank, and it is running kiss, then I'll let ctaylor handle it! :P

Oh thanks for the confidence. hehe.

Tank and Cleric are on same computer run by the same guy and both using MQ2.

OK. Both characters are running on the same computer. Now Are both characters running KissAssist?

Yessir and he was set as Tank. Currently we've turned buffs to 0 for the cleric. All else is working fine.

OK I have a couple of questions. Are all the buffs the cleric is casting actually landing on the Tank? Is the cleric recasting all the buffs or just certain buffs? Sounds like you have a buff in the blocked buffs list on your tank or a buff on your tank that the clerics buff can not overwrite. I would try clicking off all the buffs on your tank and let the cleric buff from scratch and see what sticks and what does not.

This sounds like it's probably the answer. Thank you CT! I'm going to direct my Brother to this post so he can work through it. I'm fairly sure he's got buffs on his SK that are causing an override issue.

I seem to be getting an error whenever I click settings: "MacroQuest.ini not found or local or local MQ2 folder not set. Please check your MQ2 folder path."

I've done so. Even created a new MQ2 folder. Error still appears whenever I click settings.
