Instructions

1. Use the Patchme command to bypass the SOE Launcher
2. Download the Very Vanilla compile zip file at the bottom of this post.
3. Download the RGUpdater.
4. Use the RGUpdater to update your MacroQuest files. Instructions are here.
5. Run MacroQuest2.exe from that folder
6. Run EverQuest.exe
7. In-Game, type "/plugin <plugin name>" to add all plugins you wish to use
8. Click Here for Plugin Commands/Descriptions.

• If EverQuest crashes when trying to log in, make sure you're using the newest RGUpdater.
• If you're using Internet Explorer and having issues with "attachment.php" or Smartscreen Filter please read here. Or just use any other browser.

your date on the new compile says 20150225 this will still work?

just tryied this compile and got incorrect client version.

Any tips/guides on what to do when the game won't load? Delete entire mq2 folder and start over, any smaller steps?

try to use the Default UI,the custom UIs were crashing my accounts.

All Custom UIs will crash. I fixed the minor issue with mine (NoobUI) and noticed crashes even though my UIErrors.txt was empty. I had to load in under default then load my custom UI and it worked fine. Very odd.

find that .tmp file and delete it, and delete all .tmp files from the folder.

It could also mean you have a corrupt .zip. Try disabling antivirus and download again.

Got a message in game that a new EXE had been pushed and we should patch at our earliest convenience...uhm sure, just as soon as the new compile is up.

It probably fixes a bunch of advloot bugs.

ive been using the new compile 20150325, just turned on computer and when I try to load mq2 it says incorrect client version. wow, I reinstalled game still says incorrect version im lost plz help
