Instructions

1. Use the Patchme command to bypass the SOE Launcher
2. Download the Very Vanilla compile zip file at the bottom of this post.
3. Download the RGUpdater or grab it out of the Very Vanilla compile zip file.
4. Use the RGUpdater to update your MacroQuest files. Instructions are here.
5. Run MacroQuest2.exe from that folder
6. Run EverQuest.exe
7. In-Game, type "/plugin <plugin name>" to add all plugins you wish to use
8. Click Here for Plugin Commands/Descriptions.

Common issues:

• If EverQuest crashes when trying to log in, make sure you're using the newest RGUpdater.
• If you're using Internet Explorer and having issues with "attachment.php" or Smartscreen Filter please read here. Or just use any other browser.

Still getting the injection error, while using the latest RGUpdater. Probably has something to do with windows 8.1, since there aren't many ppl using that :S

Grabbed the macroquest2.exe from the zip file manually and that solves most of it for now.

Still getting those weird crashes, eventhough I am logged in correctly, which gives me a popup and forces me to cancel EQ. Kinda annoying when logging in, sometimes takes 15 min to get all chars online.

Nope, windsong.

And it only gives the crash popup when starting up EQ, not if the char is fully logged in.

It's weird as hell though, cause somewhere along the starting up I get the message, but if I wait the char will log in anyways. If I want to close the popup though it also forces that EQ session to cancel :S

Trying to login now and it says Incorrect client version. If I click "OK" MQ2 shows up in my sys tray, but when I logged in, MQ2 wasn't loaded into the game.

Me as well. Apparently there was a systemwide message over chat, but it went flying by due to fighting. Next thing I know "YOU HAVE BEEN DISCONNECTED"

Hey look found a 170hp,mana,end aug quest in Guild lobby LOL. Upgrades for all my toons. Took me 5mins on each toon. Only have to run around in Guild lobby and an old Guild Hall, do some hails otw.
