Hi redguides!

I came across this old MQ2 plugin from EQ Emulator. I want to use it with current Macroquest on live servers: https://github.com/maudigan/MQ2TakeADump/tree/master

It's for MQ2 and hasn't been updated in about 5 years.

Before I go through the trouble of installing Visual Studio again just to try compiling it, I wanted to ask:
Has the plugin interface or infrastructure changed so much with the newer MacroQuest versions that older plugins like this are no longer compatible? Since the project is now called MacroQuest instead of MQ2, I'm not sure if it's even technically possible to get outdated plugins working, or if it's a lost cause from the start.

I would appreciate any info or experiences on this. Thanks!

its possible, cause mq2melee is still around, and depemding on what data it accesses, changes has been made, but i think if you know c++ you should be able to fix it, by comparing functions and what not to other plugins that are current.
