Mostly just very curious about how different things work and I am wondering do the plugins all have to be changed or updated when eq and mq2 updates, also what about the macs?

Some plugins have to be updated. especially if they use an offset.

Macros sometimes need to be updated. if they use a certain struct that has been changed.

It depends if the structs on the plugin have been changed, if not they don't have to update.
