Resolved - Unreliable DynamicZone TLO - not updating sometimes (1 Viewer)

I've had this weird Heisenbug for a year or two.

DynamicZone TLO stops giving the correct information to SOME but not all the characters after quitting the instance.

That is:

${DynamicZone.Members}

will return 1 instead of correct 0

${DynamicZone}

will show the old instance name instead of correct NULL

/dzquit does nothing, rather to EQ you are out of the task but MQ thinks you still have the task


Only solution so far has been to log to character select.

Curious if anyone else has ever experienced this? Only happens to about 20% of my characters say 2 out of 10.

Any way of forcing refresh of DynamicZone in game?

Interesting - does this seem to happen more frequently with a specific dz? Or seemingly random?

i believe, that the information is based on what is in the dz window, and if that is not updated proper from the eq servers the mq tlo is gonna show wrong.

Happens randomly with random expeditions.

Indeed Alt-Z brings up the window with the old expedition - unable to quit with /dzquit nor with Quit Expedition.

So some bug on the EQ side...
