Can you unload the MQ2 from one of your EQ1 clients after its been loaded from ingame? I have things that MQ2 effect that are not needed but I do need it on my Tank client, i would like for it to not run on the non tank clients, any ideas?

doing /unload to any of my clients crashes them, I am using ISBoxer to load them. Is this a known issue?

Also, I am doing the /unload on the char select screen, is there a better place to try it?

I use /unload multiple times per day and never crash, note that I am just using core plugins.

If you crash when doing /unload it means you are either doing it while a macro is running or you have a bad plugin loaded that doesn't know how to unload properly.

I suggest you unload each of your plugins until you find the one crashing you.
/plugin list will list them and /plugin mq2whatverplugin unload will unload a plugin.

Try /unload ingame vs at char select.

I unload in game, but only after ending any running macros, making sure I'm well out of combat and have no other windows open (vendor, bank, etc). If I have been logged in for a long time I zone before I unload.
But as others have stated, if you are crashing every time you use the /unload command, chances are you have a plugin loading that is going bonkers.

I'm also one of those folks who crash every time I unload. I've also noticed it crashes a lot lately if I zone with a macro running(like when GTFO triggers). Or sometimes when I go to start the client it will auto crash the first few instances I load, then work fine. I guess I will go through unloading plugins until I find something that makes me crash.

Keep in mind that the EQ client had some pretty big crash bugs that were supposedly fixed with this patch/expansion. Your crashing issues could be related to that and not MQ2 unload or a plugin. I'd give it a few test runs before messing with MQ.. Well, once the devs finish the update to MQ2 anyway :)

That would make sense as it seems like the crashing really got a lot worse within say the last month-ish? Sure would be nice if things were more stable with this patch.
