Problem - UI hotkeys and chat box shrunk dramatically when I went to full screen

This is a noob question but I hit full screen mode and my UI hotkeys and my chat box shrunk to unplayable levels with my eye sight lol, I tried resizing the hotkeys to 175 percent size but that’s still too small.

Any idea how I can revert back to the default resolution it was at prior? I tried defaulting back but it didn’t change the resolution, or the size of my hotkey boxes , chat size ect…

go back to windowed mode? if your boxing its much better to have access to the instances along your taskbar anyway. or are the ui and chat windows still small when you go back to windowed?

Everything’s still small when i go back to windowed mode. I’d take a pic but I’m at work for another 8 hours ugh

EQ’s UI does not scale with resolution. Well except for the new UI windows which are garbage and you shouldn’t use them anyway.

My guess is before it wasn’t using your windows resolution which is set to 4K or something and EQ in windowed mode was set to a lower resolution like 1080.

Try setting your EQ windowed resolution to lower resolution. This might make the window smaller though so you’ll need to lookup info on how to play older games that don’t scale ui resolutions on windows.

Really the two options are lower your desktop resolution when you play EQ in windowed mode or play full screen and lower the resolution in game. It sucks

Modern video cards have software to help with this such as Nvidia has DLSS but when you use that again you have to play fullscreen.

Thank you lowering my desktop resolution fixed it
