I'm not using kissassist I'm curious how do you turn off the strafing behind portion?

You should be able to just type /melee stickmode=off

Or, if you want, try /melee stickmode=front if you want it to stay in the front.

Not 100% sure. on the last one.

MQ2Melee configs

If you want to keep the change forever, make sure you always "/melee save" once things are working for you.

i can post later my stickhow for mq2melee, if i remember right its for max melee but can set it for front or back of mob or sides, think mine are rear arc.

/stickbehind=0 ? or in game.. i thought that was what it was lol, i cant remember

I thought this was in the melee settings as well

There is no stickhow anywhere on my ini. I also don't want it to twist around a mob but I want it to stick to a mob. Say if I'm to the side is stays there unless I move.

Type /melee in game. There should be some stickxxxx settings. If you turn stickmode=1, there should be a stickcmd in your ini that you can edit to make your default stick behavior.

It doesn't show up in the mq2melee ini it only shows up when I do /melee so not sure where its pulling information from. I did put it to stickmode=1.

In my ini this is what I have
roundkick=0
stickbreak=1
stickmode=1
stickrange=75
stun0=469

Rich (BB code):
stickcmd=${If[${Math.Calc[${Target.MaxRangeTo}*0.8]} > 19,15,${Math.Calc[${Target.MaxRangeTo}*0.8]}]} hold moveback behind loose
gets you max melee i think still lol

could also do
Rich (BB code):
stickcmd=!front loose

He's not wanting to be behind the mob. Or at least, he doesn't care about it. I would just do stickcmd=15 loose or something similar if you're wanting to just stick to mobs when attacking.
