Ok this is my first post but here goes. I was bored as usual and decided to do the quest in Cazicthule (shortname). You kill the Thulian High Ritualist and loot the crude bone alter (container for combines) then loot one of each of the following
-Tear Encrusted Quill
-Black powdered Incense
-Flesh bound tome
-Black ooze filled phylactery
after ya combine em ya can warp up to a living void trun in the new Phobonomicon of thul tae ew ya just made. A Horror Construct will spawn, I killed em and he droped two Horror Shard blade (I think it was called) just magic items not lore. Anyways I tributed both em they go for a little over 30700 each. Not sure what they sell for but a few people when i did the OOC PC said 50-75K a peice so could be decent platt farming too. I killed em at about 6 this evening, and when I came back after raid at 5 am the void was back up. So gonna try again maybe I can give some more info on his other drops trib and price wise. Not sure if it helps anyone but hope so. btw it took about 30-45 mins to do the drop farming, and drops only fall off thul (brown lizards) alla has an easy description for the quest so i wasn't real detailed.

Ok i just went back to redo-it again, nope. I farmed every drop i needed took me 20 mins. Can't get the container High Ritualist must be on a spawn timer=( I'll let ya know more if I figure anything out.

ack, that'd be nice though. for an item that goes for 30k tribute, that you could sell for 50k? isn't 1 plat equal to 1 tribute if you handin platinum?,,, (You could turn that 30k trib into 50k!)

mob is also lvl 63 and in the zone Cazic Thule. it says alot of stuff is raid encounter. like Warders in ST. THey can be Duo'd probably solo'd by a good paladin

Most of the epic 1.0's are listed as raid encounters, but my boyfriend solo'd each one for my monk, ranger and rogue, and I solo'd my enchanter's at level 70 easily. So what alla's says is a raid encounter, isn't always. I've also tried to sell 25k tribute stuff for like 20k and no one would buy it for that much because the stats weren't worth that much. Go figure.

I soloed it as a 70 druid with some raid gear was a tuff fight but it can be done and i am sure it would easier for other classes.

You need to understand Raid Encounter on alla means that at the time it was a raid encounter. It might not be a raid encounter anymore though.

Easily. Seen them Solo'd by a Demi-Plane SK and anguish Cleric. Gimp Shaman can solo them but takes forever due to high regen.

I have never been there before and when I came to him greig was the only thing left in the room. I guess somehow he pulled all his guards. But have never done that one before.

I've seen lluianae solo him.

I'm sure the epic clicky would help him regen all his life at some point + lifetaps + amazing damage mitigation, spell shielding and dps output. If i see a monk/cleric combo duo with half anguish gear, i can see a DK+ Sk doing it solo.

Some things marked as raid targets are simply gimp compared to current equipments and abilities. Me and a friend, 75 pally and 75 monk, half Tacvi half CoA geared duoed a warrior 1.5 epic "raid" target in WoS not that long ago. I'm not exactly uber, and rather light on the AA's considering (less than 400), and the mob conned as a raid target.

Not bragging by any means, just pointing out that "raid" targets from only a few years ago are already groupable and solo-capable, so going back even further I can see how some will be getting soloed by people.

Not impossiable i doued it with my monk and cleric. I solo all the guards with monk cleric doesn't come into the fight till grieg. I got the HP to take a beating by all the guards at once and usually kill up to two before i have to FD. while fded i would heal my monk with cleric so no aggro and then back at it with monk till guards are all gone. Then grieg hits like a broad=) FYI for lowbie plate classes his BP is best twink imo and no level reqs at all.

If you're going for tribute, there's much much better than paying a plat per tribute. Try MCS or Fierce Heraldic armor (I think that's the name of it, or Helanic Tundra. something along those lines) You'll get much better plat vs tribute ratios, and 50k could probably max you out.

FJust wait till 80, we are gonna hear some real interesting Solo stories. Pofire named , dunno if they been done solo yet, I know duel boxing is easy on them. Only thing is most things beyond PoP either hit too fast or spawn adds. Emp solo maybe or Seru?
