Question - ToV Group Armor

This might be a silly question but does ToV visible gear follow this process? Snowbound -> Icebound -> Velium Infused?

Is that order necessary or can you go from Snowbound to Velium? I ask because I have my group fully wearing ToV1 and I am now hunting Tov2 visibles. Is that the path I must follow or can I go straight from ToV1 to the Tradeskill Armor?

You don’t need icebound. The velium infused is made via dropped ores (missions and named) and faded velium containers that are tradeskill made. I got straight from snowbound to velium infused.

Probably going to end up keeping just the hand/boots if it doesn't affect the charm too much

Where you can get with augs, one more level but need raid achieves.
I would say keep working on them.

Keep em, boots and hands with the increased purity and a tank powersource = 12khp and I doubt the AC will be beaten yet either

They need to implement a new quest line that keeps these Chase /Evolve items updated to stay relevant with the enormous amount of time we spent on them. And it would encourage people to actually go back and do past content which would keep them playing longer.

They're going to implement a NEW chase/evolve item with NEW augs. No need to keep old stuff relevant when there's a ton of new stuff to do. Is your earring 100% done? Do you have all the type 19s you need?

beta forums. Ngreth has said there will be new evolvers but no info on what they'll be. Chase loot will continue to be Ice Encrusted in CoV, so no upgrades there.

nice info krycek - would love to hear about more info when it becomes available! I'm *still* trying to get the chase pieces on my main crew heh, feeling more and more like they're all going to be for naught (but at least knock out the achieves like explore and collections is probably still good)

With type 18/19 augs, I still believe that the TBL evolvers will be relevant until you can get CoV raid gear.

Yes .. even Artisan Prize maxed..

But It took months to go back and redo all of the quests, hunters, progressions, and travelers, which was pretty fun. If the new stuff is just so much better, nobody would go back for the experience more then likely.
