depends on how you do it and if ur good at boxing. with 110 gear at 113 yes you should be able to do Grik. Would just need the bard to mezz and kill adds inbetween when grik is flying

I did it on day 1 of TOV with level 110 chars in GMM/TBL gear.
Thanks guys. I beat it but not by much. My attempt where I fell down that stupid cavern was not fun haha.
it's not broken in the raid they just stupidly made it a red color instead of blue since people complained about the blue on white.
are you doing the chase mode or the sit and wait?
there are several spots you can just set the group and as long as you trigger the event at the right spot, you dont move, they all come to you.

lmfao. Then the red is even harder to see than the blue. Careful what you wish for, EQ fans, you just might get it.
Turn off your 3d target ring in eq options next time and you should be able to see it pop up. And yes I get the complaint about the blue but of all the colors of the rainbow to choose from you pick the con color of the damn mob.
Man I am on my hundred and fifty first attempt at this. I cannot seem to get my toons in sync. Switch with MA is on all dps toons. All except cleric. I set it up exactly as shown. I get him to drop (after third or fourth pass. Sometimes the 8th or 9th pass. I cannot seem to switch toons fast enough to get them to run under him. When he does drop...My toons just stand there. I have to manually click their auto attack just to get them to attack. Usually by the time I get them all attacking....he goes up. Then I use my main (pally) and click off Griklor out of his target...but have to constantly call my 2 rogues (MQ2Rogue) and BST (MQ2BST) back over and over again because they want to keep chasing Griklor while the adds attack. By the time I get them all back... Cleric is usually dead, and the pally is trying to rez him. and fight the 2-3 adds. My dps normally is around 790k - 1.2m. When all the toons are doing what they are supposed to do. I have tried every conceivable combination. have all toons run with him.

I position them according to the posts here. But always the same. I do have swithwithMA on. When I target an add one or all my dps toons immediately start following griklor. Gotta be a bug in there somewhere.

on the cwtn plugins you should turn on switchwithma and then just clear your target on your MA and they will no longer chase griklor unless your ma targets it.
I suggest just having them in chase mode and with switchwithma on permanantly.

Set everyone to Assist the MA and change targets with MA. take whoever is gonna trigger back to bethun, wait till grik is just to the right of the gate and say fight.
Doing that you just set in place. He will emote a small distance before your group, and will pass right overhead and trigger. "
From an earlier post...I have to say I tried this tactic a gazillion times and it never worked. Of course if I had actually understood what it was saying...I might have saved two keyboards. I kept thinking it was the posts on the southern end of the fort. But actually the norther posts right by the quest controller (Brethun). Just when he is at the right post trigger the event (say or click on the word fight after hailing him). His emotes and triggers happen right on top of the group. god Bless Arander.
BTW...as of 2/19/21, a reminder to also take into account lag. Today I did grik...but found that the triggers were about 60 units of distance towards the quest giver dude. So just adjust your toons where the emote happens (restless ice stornm hit Grik, and the one that brings him down).I am sure that it is because of lagging.
