Question - Toon keeps refreshing the same buff despite having it

My cleric keeps refreshing Certitude (Aegolism line), despite already having it & that it lasts 4 hours.
He's not spamming it non stop. Its mostly every few minutes outside of combat.
My pally does the same things with his armor line that last 3 hours.
Any suggestions to have it only be cast when they don't have it?

Because unified certitude applies two spells you will need to use the dual tag

Buffs5=Unified Certitude|Dual|Blessing of Fervor
or
Buffs5=Unified Certitude|Dual|Certitude

If the buff name in the window is different than the spell cast, you need to add a |dual tag. Tells KA to cast the buff, but look for the different named buff. Common for combo buffs like cleric/shammy hp buffs or Unity type AA/spell buffs. Without it, KA doesn't see the buff and keeps recasting.

This would recast every 2 hours to re-apply the blessing, correct?

Yes or it will recast if a group member (on same computer and running KA) loses the listed buff. You could add both lines and it will catch either missing buff in case one gets removed or clicked off by accident.

Longer answer is KA's buff section works by checking a file that each active KA toon is updating with their current buffs. Each toon with a [Buffs] section reads that and uses it to decide if somebody else needs a rebuff. Also when you restart KA, it will usually redo all buffs.

That helped fix a few other things, like where an AA ability doesn't apply the buff of the same name.
