Guide - The Burning Lands - Conflagrant to T3 - Fast Track

With the introduction of GMM each toon you have really only need 8 Muhbis for Visible armor slots, and then however many augs - the rest of the gear can come from GMM (rings, belts, weapons, etc) --- well at least outside of some of the tank specific high ac "security" gear

This post is pretty much on point. I used this thread as a reference to take my group through, and now I'm getting ready to do it again for a couple of replacement toons in my group that are just hitting 110.

If you're a non-tank, gobble up that GMM gear and use the T1/T2 along the way to fill out visibles. For tanks, gear up as much as you can in GMM even with the non-tank items (mask, neck, range etc.) for the ac, hp, and mana/end alone over conflag to get you started on the TBL journey. Then you'll want to replace some of that with muhbis stuff once they start dropping. By the time I got through progression and started farming muhbis I went aggro mask, bow (ranged with BiC aug), and earrings to replace some of that GMM gear that just doesn't hold up as "tank" gear later on. After that and the visibles, your weapons and shield muhbis will be slightly better than the GMM stuff but not enough to worry about early on. Those are first world problems at that point.

And run Fight Fire and the other missions as you unlock them every day if you can for the loot/currency. Type 5's are a huge help as you start to fill them out.

The one thing you'll learn real fast is if you gear up in GMM first a lot of the non vis drops in missions are just going to be tribute for you. Which kind of stinks, but it also makes the trek a lot easier if you're already wearing better.

Also, if you get bad fire faction from farming missions like brass palace too much (I did), you can still do the hailing/asking as kos for the Serving Another Master quest. If you get the hail in and get the mob that says [ruined] in their response they won't continue the conversation with you, however you can skip over that by saying "spot" to them and they'll still spawn Ghost Ruby for you to continue. I got to that point and figured I was going to have to faction grind for a while to fix it, but I tried a couple of mobs and got it to work.

I have been away since EOK and have used what's in here to help me get to where I am now. Unfortunately I am now stuck at All Hail The King, it took me ages to sort my faction out to be able to request the quest, now I have finally reached the Tradeskill item part and can not get the item to combine, and having camped for hours gathering lightning essences from the armors its totally ruined my faction again. I think I have done 15 combines and each time it leaves the emblem of storms and the essences vanish. Jeweller has 349 skill with the Eyeglass equipped. Even had a friend with 395 skill try and got the same result, both essences gone.....
Also if anyone on AB can make the Tier 3 Armor containers I would appreciate it as ive used all my money bar a small sum to make the tier 1 armors.

You could try another recipe. Everwarm Bread: 2x Unebbing Ember, 4x Phoenix Dough, Bread Tin.

Edit: 15 combines for the amulet and no success seems strange; I've made several for people when they were doing the mission and never had a failed attempt.

I finally managed to do it today, took nearly 20 combines and everytime it failed it destroyed the lightning essences.
The rogues in Tyrant misson hit hard, all mobs seem to resist mez and 4 at a time is tricky, managed to do it in the end.

Beam of slumber.

Position your chanter on one side of the pack, with los of all or most of the npcs. Pop beam of slumber while engaging with your tank on whichever you start killing. Then tash - mez each one individual.

Keep in mind that all casters can dispell mez, but priests are the worst for it. I tend to kill the priests last so they won't unmez anything.

You really want to play your chanter, kiss does ok, but at the start of each bunch I've found playing the chanter works better. If you're running mq2melee on your tank it should handle keeping aggro while you lock everything down.

Unfortunately I dont have a chanter in my group. My group make up is SK,Bard,Shm,Clr,Rog,Zerk bard does ok, but mez takes so long to cast. Still contemplating dropping SHM for BST for a bit more damage.

When I started gearing out my alts I was doing a quick cycle of "Delivery", "remodeling" and "Contract of War". All 3 took about 45 mins to an hr to complete and I had about 15 toons fully geared in T2+ in about 2 weeks, just doing these once a day.

The 2 fire Tasks "delivery" and "Remodeling" I just use an SK and Rog for, if you shared SoS or Flop your way in to the tables you only have to kill 4 mobs, and before the fix only had to kill 2 mobs. The hardest part now is purely that you have to kill the Guardian mob which has a strong DD on a dot fade so the toons you use need to be able to withstand that. I usually use a strategic shield flash or deflect to survive it. but if you can get to handling it those 2 tasks alone only take 5-10 mins each. of course you have to have the progression to request them. you can add alts right up to chest open, and then I just run them in as far as I can and if I die then I just drag them with Rog back to the Chest for a rez. make sure not to release, as your corpse gets ported to zone in graveyard.

Shaman get an a/e knockback + root AA that Should work almost as well as beam.

Is there a recommended route for the tradeskill part of "All Hail The King"? Reading though these posts, it all seems like a huge time sink and a crap shoot on a successful combined . Any suggestions?

Not really, I I remember rightly the items needed can be traded, other then thts you'll have to camp the items to make the item and either craft them yourself or find a crafter to make them

As VorpalChicken mentioned everything is tradable. When I did this, I just found someone with high enough skill and paid them a bit of plat to craft what I needed.
