Guide Coming - Target Audience " New to TBL"

WORK IN PROGRESS - Posting and getting ideas on paper before I organize -

Guide will show a streamline way to skip as much content as possible to reach t2 zones/missions that will allow gearing up and then returning to do the harder progression. As well as tips along the way.

The Burning Lands

Progression uses warrior as example

Since TBL has been out a little while you don't have to struggle as much as launch day.

You can campfire/guild banner to nearly all zones in TBL-

You can get invited to T2 missions that drop T3 Tradeskill items without doing any progression at all.

This guide will be for people with entry level gear trying to work their way through the expansion.

Conflagrant 110 Warrior ~5500 AC 190-200k buffed
T3 TBL Warrior max ~10500 AC 350-400k buffed

I noticed a real difference when warrior hit 6500 AC. Try to get here as fast as possible.

Zones:

Tier 1
STRATOS: ZEPHYR'S FLIGHT
THE PLANE OF SMOKE
ESIANTI: PALACE OF THE WINDS

Tier 2

EMPYR: REALMS OF ASH
AALISHAI: PALACE OF EMBERS
MEARATAS: THE STONE DEMESNE
DOOMFIRE, THE BURNING LANDS (TBL)
THE CHAMBER OF TEARS

Zone Access:

The Plane of Smoke has 5 Trials - In order to pass through Plane of smoke you must beat 1 trial. This gives you temporary access thru Plane of Smoke until your replay timer fades ~4 days.
If you beat all 5 Trials you get access to the static version of Smoke. And Can access the other zones whenever you want. (A player with lockout can request Trial of Smoke mission and allow you to pass through)

This path will take you quickly to Mearatas. By doing so you have access to a T2 zone whenever you want having only beat 1 Trial and no longer needing a lockout timer to pass through.
Esianti Palace of Winds connects directly to Stratos - So you don't have to pass thru Plane of Smoke - It is however locked behind progression. We will plan to beat 1 trial and then do all the progression
before our 4 days is up. Focus on these tasks and not so much merc/partisan tasks - You can return to them later.

Shortest Path to Mearatas -

Stratos
1. Soldier of Air
2. Fight Fire
3.Smoke Trial (recommend wending ways)

Empyr:Realms of Ash
4.Prisoner's Dilemma
5.Palace of Embers

Aalishai Palace of Embers
6.Brass Palace
7. Key to the Kingdom

Esianti: Palace of the Winds
8.Contract of War
9.All Hail the King
10.Royal Visits
11.Tyrant of Fire
12.Enter Mearatas
13.Serving Another Master

Mearatas: The Stone Demesne

Early Gearing -

I found stratos to not be a friendly zone - At this point you have bad faction so everything is KOS. The knockback is not Huge, but the range is. Half the mobs or more will knock you back. If you fall off you land at the entrance where you take 200k damage. Most likely you wont have the Hit Points yet to take this fall damage.

To get early T1 gear in Stratos I found one camp better than most.
Silver Eyes Dread

#9 On this EQ resource map
https://tbl.eqresource.com/namestratoszephyrsflight.php

This Island isolated you from other peoples fighting so their knockback doesnt hit. Gives you room to work and the boss is one of the easier. Its not in an instance so you can split your group and pop mercs for more healing if needed.
Farm this only if you can not beat wending ways trial. The trial gives T1 loot with a chance at the T3 tradeskill item (needed for t3 items)

After you have access past The Plane of Smoke via the progression listed above - You probably can't farm the t2 zones. However The missions for T1 and T2 can be started and entered from Stratos and Plane of Tranquility.
Repeat Brass Palace - Contract of War and Tyrant of Fire - The first 2 start in Stratos - The 3rd requires a ring from quest give, but then is repeatable from Tranquility - old plane of fire. Contrace of War and Tyrant of Fire drop T2 loots .

Once you are able to do these missions, Its a very good way to gear up into T2 gear. You can start doing other tasks and names as able. And the last goal is to finish the other 4 Trials in Plane of smoke. Then continue w/ the mearatas quests to finish up the expansion. You'll gain 90-150 Alt currency per mission. Use this to buy type 5 augs and 40 slot bag in stratos.

DIMS - Diminished Inhabited Muhbis are the No Trade item required to make T3 items : Found in any chest or T2 Names up to 2 at once

Brass Palace Tips -

Brass Palace will probably be your first/easiest repeatable mission. Each chest can drop up to two T1 visibles. Always has a spell (useable for TBL or RoS spells). And one or more augments.

Great Ocean Sky gives this mission in Stratos.

This walkthru will be intended for weaker geared players - This mission for geared players is beatable in under 15 minutes. Here I will guide you through a safe and slower win.

The zone in has mobs on all sides of you but its a safe point if you don't move. To be safe I recommend clearing everthing to the left and right of you. You don't want these adds during your first boss fight. In Front of you is 2 guards at the bridge. Clear these. The ditch can have pathing fire elementals in it. I would also clear these 1 at a time. They have a nasty dot and you dont want those adding. The next 2 guards are at the door. Wait for other guards to path away and the 2 at door will be tethered and come as a duo. I pull them back across bridge to the zone in area that i've cleared of all nearby mobs. As soon as you kill the second guard at door the boss will spawn. I believe everything except bosses is mezable in this mission.

This is the worst boss here IMO - 2 things. Keep him facing away from your group. You probably can't handle the AoE if you don't. The second thing is he gets a 12500 damage shield. This will insta kill your dual wielding melee. Get a Mark of Shandrel or the new TBL curators Mark on it asap. He's resistant so make sure it lands. Once you have him turned from group and marked, there is nothing else I can offer. If you can't beat him then gear up more in stratos.

After he's dead move inside the doors. Stay in the hall way and pull the guards. There are some pathing mobs here you can be safe and clear them if you want. Upon killing the second guard the boss will spawn. You should be in the hallway and he will not agro if you stay out of sight. (He spawns where guards were). With the boss about 8 elementals spawn they have a big aura. This won't be an issue because we dont fight in the room. So auras never hit us. Pull boss into hallway and fight. I tank him directecly ontop of my group, he has some AoE but no real tricks to mention. There is no rush here - so wait on all defense/healing AA if needed.

The next doors open up. Inside the next room are 6 guards. I pull them all the way back to the hallway I fought the second boss at. The room has super bad pathing and if you try to fight in there, you'll end up w/ all 6 guards and I've even had them run outside the entire building agroing mobs far off in the zone. After I clear 4 of the guards. I move into the room with 2 guards left. After you clear the second(6th) guard the boss spawns. Face him away from group. Remember bad pathing, so becareful on the pull. I like to move as close as possible before agroing him. Other wise he'll end up looping around and hitting your group in the back.

After 3rd boss death, there is a side room, Loot quest piece on table, click it, chest spawns, open it, rinse and repeat until you can do the T2 missions contract of war and Tyrant of fire

This chest CAN have Diminished Inhabited Muhbis - these are used to create T3 items. Gear your tank first!

Yes looking forward myself!

Im not going into details on combines for T2 or T3, where to get the components once you get the main pieces etc as I imagine thats where the Oldtimer is going with what he is working on but below is helpful.

Here's my fast track to gearing a group. If you are single, ooc any rots, watch for the spawns on map and hang out near group killing and ask for rots though be wary of aoe's on some of the fire mobs...the snail and flame mob named have gnarly aoe that will kill you if you cant heal it away or cure.

Getting your group to Empyr where your farm plots will be:
**Remember, you will be spending alot of time here, dont afk.

First, you have to complete ONE of the trials of smoke. Join a group whatever it takes. Once you get one completed, you can then invite your box group and run into Emypr zone which is normally locked, but for two days you can get in there with your toon and anyone in your toons group. When you log out then back in, even weeks later, your group remains in Emypr. ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS set a campfire when you log in...just takes one wipe without a campfire and its sad times because you cant get back in to Empyr without doing one of the trials if you are beyond the 2 days of the last completion of one trial. Go to EQResource or Alla and find out where the PHs are for the namers. Namers still hit pretty hard so be prepared to run your cleric manually if your ini is suspect of picking its nose. All of the named here drop nice group non vis gear from earrings to rings, shoulders, back, weapons yada yada. A good augment drops here off Ruby as well as other type 5 augments. Best part is they can drop diminished muhbis which are 1 part of the 3 part T3 combination but all of thats for Oldtimer Im just here to throw you my fast track to gearing groups. Anyhow, once you find a couple of named you are comfortable with you can farm the type 2 group armor. Simple combine to make. The visible pieces drop almost every time so wont take long. You can buy the component crystallized luck for 200k to do the combine from parcel vendor @ small bank POK.

Fight Fire Mission:

This mission has a great drop ratio to missions completed. You also get 98 frittered coins per mission, which is used to buy type 5 augments off vendor next to quest giver. Replace all your old ones. You can do that mission over and over to get the fritters, but the loot lockout timer is almost 5 hours. The loot can be one of 4 items, ring, boots, gloves and shoulders. Evolve into best in game per slot and end up near 9800 hps.

Fight Fire mission. Takes about 1 hour at first. You need to have a fd class, preferably a snaring type and an enchanter/bard for mez. (I hate bards for cc). Set up at the base of the bridge next to Grieving Soul Scent. Puller goes across from them.
Mobs mez easily. 7 mobs at first wave, non aggro. Speak to one, be ready to run and fd they become active after 3 hail. Easily split able. (Campfire outside @ quest giver). Second wave is 5. Easily split able.
IMMEDIATELY RUN BACK TO BASE OF BRIDGE AFTER LAST MOB DIES! The next 4 mobs have line of sight aggro, so if they see you...they are coming! Use chanter when mana is up to target one of the mobs, be ready....pop out mash delude and mez one then perplexing wave the rest. From here, go get a cup of coffee while the mobs self mez themselves. Super easy at this point. Rinse repeat.

Now, you will be spending alot of time here, dont afk.

Dont forget to get your kill tasks or other tasks while you are farming gear!

Lastly, GOOD LUCK!

2 MORE THINGs: once you do get into empyr with your group, and set your campfire and go out to do the Fight Fire mission, make dam sure one of your ini's isnt set to auto drop a campfire! This can make you a sad panda real fast hehe!

Secondly...save yourself the grief if you cant campfire back because youre having a bad round and already campfired once; buy rez tokens from the loyalty vendor and keep a few on each of your toons! Thank me later!

Thirdly... the mob push here is incredible. If you have an uber group and do what I do and just pull the whole bunch...dont walk away to go make coffee because your tank gets pushed up the hill or around the corner like the old days...you come back to the lobby lol!

I have done that myself, looking forward to reading your experience in such matter. Wish I know how easy to upgrade from Conflagrant to T3 beforehand.

Please include on how to effectively farm Primordial Dynastic Radiance as each of us will be needing ~100 per toon.

This was a fantastic guide - as someone who just came back this was perfect for me. Gave me a direction to focus on and no waste. It took me a few days as some of the mobs wrecked my group until I got some gear, but between doing Brass Palace (still a lil rough with most melee group lol) and FF, I was able to gear up.

A week or so into TBL and I am now in Mearatas getting my tank T3'd with that 2 scoops of creatine.

Interesting mention - I didn't know what I was supposed to do when I got to Mearatas, until I learned the middle mob respawns as only a named!

OldTimer - much appreciated

Edited to add : Do not camp out near center circle - logged in and all my dudes got AoE'd to death from another team killing a named yikes

I didn't finish it - I have been distracted on several levels and I always planned to clean it up. Hopefully I'll get motivated and make it nicer for others. I'm glad you got use from it.

I have found oddly that in a group setting the PDR seems semi-common maybe1 in 8 kills. Now as a raid I can get 1 in 5 to sometimes 1 in 4 mobs will drop the PDR.

Stuck on the fire fight mission, mobs are not to difficult, just learning the mechanics. As old timer mentioned, 1st 12 mobs are cake. second 4 are a bit tougher but can be mezzed. Where I feel short was my group was to close to the mobs and my chanter died. I also had my wiz burn all his mana on the 1st 12 so he was oom and the fight was painfully slow.

That being said, the 4 mobs that are last seem to have a zone wide agro or at least very large and because of the above, I wiped and had to zone back in. Needless to say I was bombarded by the 3 remaining mobs and had no chance to CC considering the mistmatch delays in zoning in. So, I'll wait the 6 hours retarded lock out and try again. Tried to zone back in twice and it was a no go for me, they hit to hard on my squishy's and to fast for me to react.

EDIT:
well I gave it the old college try one more time and was ok. I was lucking in that my warrior zoned in first and I made a mad dash for the bridge.. once I grab the mobs I ran around and brought the rest of the group close to me. ENC mez the group and I concentrated on one mob at a time. Wiz annihilated the first one in like 5s and I was off to the races. Misson completed off to trial of smoke now.

you also gain the AA abilities Hero's of Fortitude and Hero's of Vitality for completing this one. Not sure if it an isolated thing or what.

the four mobs at the end have LOS agro and do not see invis, once the 12 mobs are down you can invis and move around the corner out of sight from them and the tag the group back to you. If you wipe, hotkey the cloudy potion and say ready to the quest guy and hit the hotkey for the invis and you will zone in invis to help recover.

I returned in the last month or two, my war was a mix of conflag/misc old raid (TBM)/some t2 RoS. He was about on par of a full conflag war, maybe a tiny bit less AC. I read this post. My cleric is in some RoS raid/EoK raid stat wise was only slightly better then a t2 TBL cleric (and raid focus i guess).

Rest of the group was pure F2P in conflag, enc/bst/ber/ber . After reading this it gave me the confidence i should *cough* waste money for 6 TBL expansions for a full group and start working through it all.

I had zero issue with the fight fire mission, but it was a bit rough and slow as mentioned above once burns all used up on first 12 mobs.

Smoke trials - Wending ways was rough, my first run in was with the air mob - seems to be the hardest to tank. The important thing here is that you can wait for all discs to reset between mobs, so use everything you got to get it down, so while the mobs may be a bit rough on lesser gear tanks you can burn everything on each mob before the next i also recommend search for 'wending ways' on forums for the macro thread to get around this instance, it's awesome.

My next hurdle was prisoner dilemma task... those messenger mobs can hit hard! especially with only a single healer in group. Use discs to save rebuffing/running headaches... , use your MQ2Map view to watch the messengers spawn and path , make sure you only bother killing 1 from each path for the task steps.

Following that, the next task Palace of embers ... the first named spawn was fine, but the ambassador in aalishai was rough, i was impatient and ended up just loading in a mates cleric and spammed my war with 2 clerics. At this point he was still in the same gear i originally started with.

Next up, brass palace... at this point, i was under the impression the first named 'called mobs' to assist. I've never seen it when all i clear and kill the named near the front of the palace, but make sure you kill all the armors except the final two right at the doors first. Also, using reverse DS on silent sun or make an event for you melee to backoff when he casts his DS "Silent Sun begins to cast a spell. <Cape of Lava>" it will fuck you up, especially duel wielding classes. I had the most trouble with this mob in here, the next two were fine except you should be ready with extra heals on the final named/follow the emotes instead.

Next task is easy, just some running around and killing a few easy mobs in stratos. Now, you can do your first t2 mission contract of war, the named spawn in a random order. So if your low dps pray you get the one that spawns adds first or second, or the one with the massive DD on fade dot - it isn't a DT, but it may as well be for conflag toons.

At this point i had a few diminished uninhabited muhbis by luck for my war, so i made a ring/chest/helm , got him 2 t2 items from the contract chest and had gone and done some GMM for non vis . I have all t1 items to the bst, so enc/melee all remain f2p at this point.

Thus far my war has gained about 30k HP and 1400AC at a rough guess, i can farm the missions all with ease now. My F2P bots i haven't upgraded at all except the bst with visibles and a few non-vis from t1. I finished progression up to mereatas and killed 2 named in there (the one that messes, so maybe the hardest with a single healer and single tank? lol) .

I did all this driving my war, and switched from kiss to ihcmercs , 90% of the time the cleric is left to his own devices healing me and i only die on odd occasions where i do stupid things like try and flash of anger while dual wielding or pulling a named with no discs ready at all.

Once war had the few upgrades from TBL/GMM i went back into trials of smoke, and trial of three is easy and fast really, trial of the speakers amphitheater is easy too but a bit long. I haven't tried the ashes of rusted cliff glory and i had one look at eternal cyclone, i think i need to either work on some custom stuff for bst/enc to range the named and keep the rest down the bottom, but i haven't bothered yet. I was told the ashes of rusted cliff is hardest, no idea. Either way i imagine single tank/single healer it will prove difficult given most i read had multiples. I only got them two trials, strange magic and remodeling tasks to go. (and all the merc/part tasks i skipped on the way to mereatas)

Thanks for the initial post for confidence to get it with conflag gear, it is doable! albeit a bit rough at times/early on. But it definitely can be done!

Yup great advice and detail on the mobs. I brought a wizard to the game as my dps - full ROS conflag - but I think I'm going to lvl a ber. Tired of him going oom on long fights and my dps going to poops. Maybe even go two Ber and swap my bard/wiz out for them. Never played one but I feel the long term deeps will outweigh the bard songs and the wiz short term burns.

two ber and a brd should up dps alot and you can break them apart and kill one at a time though it is difficult since they LOS aggro but there assist range is crap so if you setup everyone one island away and snare pull one mob at a time you can split them up. Also to get the achievements for that mission you have to do it 2 times at the minimum, once killing the Djinn first, and then the next time killing the armor's first. For the last one you need a mezzer and good burst dps, kill the Djinn's first while keeping the other mobs mezzed and if you can get them down to self stun they wont be able to complete the ritual.

Thanks Saar, got the achievement today.. now on to the trial of smoke... OMG what a pain in the ass this one is...

trial of three and wrending ways are the only 2 I have been able to beat. A tip for wrending ways is the named mobs are leashed to the rooms they are in and wont aggro if you are in the hallway going into each room, so if you wipe, drag bodies out into the hallway with the jump pad and can rez and rebuff there then I invisinto the room and get setup.

If you can beat them you can beat the amphitheatre one, it's easy but a little bit long.

3 waves of 2*mobs - for 3 of two types of drops for mini click up. Port up tank / two dps. Heal from below. Once first mini dies, another set of 3 waves of 2 mobs to kill for final 6 clicks for minis. After first mini an aura spawns roaming the bottom floor, easy to avoid and despawns between 2nd mini dieing and respawns after 3rd dies...

You can med after the spawn waves before the minis and after the minis exception for 4th mini you port straight to boss when it dies.

I did a run of them three trials yesterday and picked up 6 lamps! Even got DCd during amphitheatre, recovering was awkward but you can climb some outer area burnt beams and battle leap to a mini mid jumping. So I could get war/ber/bst pet as dps for the final mini (you lose the clicks when you die/zone) so best to leave on advloot window and loot prior to using if your worried about deaths.

Quest keys to the kingdom, the one where you have to run around stratos looking for ground spawns and a mob names a fugitive elemental. A quick tip for the box crews.

Get at least 1 toon the ability to do the full text on the mob "An upset Dervish", well call this guy our hailer toon

Plant your crew on the round thing like I have in my pic. In the pic, a fugitive elemental will pop by #3, the pjoenix will path up and down the bridge and the djinn will path left. Wait for the elemental to be at the bridge clear of the other two and pull it to the disk you are standing on. No other mob will agro you here. Once he is dead, repeat 5 more times giving your hailer toon the quest piece last.

The upset dervish is just behind us btw so it makes things easy for such a dumb quest.

1554514133841.png

Contract of War, another stupid one.. at the end mephitis spawn consistently even after completion... so dumb.

So I died through this one 3 times at least... but I got to the king and spoke the words and all he said back was "my guards will deal with you" and nothing.. gay! I'll have to try it again to see if I can get through it another day.

also a last tip here, the last boss guy does a dot and 300 k dt after the dot expires which you have to cure, 25 increase curse I believe. If your boxing like me, you need a dedicated toon running cure's which I ran manual, I just ran bard song for tgt cure and watched all my guys effects windows. Once I saw someone with it up, I tgted them and ran the song a few times through. I missed on my enc once but the cleric battle resed him and he was back in action.

Yeah... I wiped from being disconnected the other day, didn't think much of it. Zoned back in and had a train of over a dozen mephits headed to zone in lol
Managed to beat them, next time I might just start again :-P

Hey Rooster, after killing the last boss, do you go unlock the blue doors and then run to the king and say the words or is there something I'm missing from the step?

Just started TBL last night and this has been my goto thread for looking shit up the last week while I finished RoS. Lot of good info here thanks to everyone! I gotta say all the bitching on the DB forums about this expansion had me sweating it a bit so I made some changes to my mac's especially the enchanter.

Tip for Fire fight - as mentioned setup out of LOS by the bridge and if you have a class that can lull just use that for splitting, way faster than FD pulling for me anyway and you dont waste burns or a lot of mana doing all at once. Think this took me 5 minutes maybe. Ench beam of slumber for the final 4 and these mobs wont even hit you once before you take em out 1 at a time ( zzzzzzzzz )

Wending ways confused the shit out of me lol. I read a bunch of posts talking about the number of a type mob and like 1 post about the aura on the pad over the first pad to your left...so I apparently got close to the correct boss early randomly bouncing around figuring out how the pads move me around and there were no more aura's over the pads, so I'm counting the spawns of each type on my map and it's telling me to goto the wind guy....40 minutes later and after getting punted out of all the other bosses room...turns out it was the number of each aura type over the pad...Water guy, ok got it! Figuring out the next 3 was easy then. 30 min later done... bouncing around 6 chars is a pain in the ass....mules mac wasnt working for me :( but wow the loot sure was nice!

Thanks again this thread was a confidence booster...I figured if people were able to handle it in conflag gear my crew should be able to do it a little easier in full RoST2....I like some challenge but I dont want every task mission to be a bitch....just wanna chill sometimes

Just finished contract of war,.. lol took me all afternoon. Some tips for anyone trying. After you down the 1st boss, go clear the temple thing where the 3rd boss pops at. I just cleared the whole thing as I waited for my discs to reset. the mephitis after I did this only spawned two. You can't talk to the king until these are dead. I'm not sure if there is something else that activates the mephitis to spawn in there, but clearing the castle on the last run I only got two or I killed them quick enough others didn't spawn.

You wont be able to talk to the king until these are dead. After they die, run up, say the words and the chests pops right next to you.

Hailing the quest people on "all hail the king" I get no responses, they just say go away. I'm kos to the mobs in here, Do you need faction? I used collab with my enc to get dub, but still saying go away. Any ideas?

Also when you are in Esiantc - grap your teleport spells from faistwan toothri at -890.14 -1498.94, -51.15 - north east of the stratos zone in.

man be warned/prepared... the final step in the All Hail the king quest.. requires a tradeskill combine. I think it supports all the trades. but damn I hate these stop gaps in quests... just seriously stupid. Can you just buy this item?

Quick edit here: I went the baking route for ever warm bread. Was the easiest in terms of the combine o thought. I also had someone do the combine for me and gave him all the mats. I bought all the stuff minus the mob drops in the bazaar. I think the guy had a 300 skill with a trophy. It is food so just make sure it’s not in your very first slot. I only needed 1 and my entire group got the task complete after the turn in.

Just went back through my trial of smoke WW trial. I have to say after gearing up naturally though the quests. I’m currently at the tyrant of fire quest. The trial was smooth as butter. 1 shot them all. Only dude that was pressed was my wiz who burned all his mana every fight. My clr didn’t drop past 90% mana. even brought my enc in on dps for 12+mil dmg on the air boss from his spells. Took about 45-hour to run through it all. Worst part is just moving all the toons around.

not sure what I did wrong but tyrant of fire I didn't get credit for. Went to Aalishai and the blazing dude wasn't there, so went and got the ring, and then I rolled over to POF, did the quest but no credit. I think because I missed talking to blazing sorrows of darkess, it slipped up. I went back to his spot and he is here now. but on 5 hour lock out.// oh well I'll try to pos trials for a bit until it unlocks

forgot to mention I got the quest from completing the last one. I think I needed to remove it and start fresh again... not sure.. but I setup a camp fire right next to him so its an easy port to him..

Enter Mearatas - this confused me a bit but the 1st mobs you talk to are the earth mobs to the east. If like me you were KOS, they just attach you. So back to Esianti for some faction grinding. This time its the NW mobs that raise the Mearatas faction though they drop your Aaslishai faction.

Keeping in mind for anyone else if you miss comments on alla/eqres

Do the hails whilst not grouped, the task bugs and you might get one person but then none else.

If non kos, you can usually do 6 toons without killing a single mob when solo vs bugging whilst group and spending *cough*hours*cough* doing hails and killing them

Yes Rooster great point, I had the quest on all 6 of my toon. After I raised my faction enough to not be KOS to the "A living Rampart" I think their called. I then wentt to the quest giver in the zone (forget his name) ungrouped everyone and 1 by 1 removed the quest and hailed the quest guy again to get the quest again. Then I ran to the earth mobs to say the phrase. After doing this, at max had to talk with 4-5 different mobs prior to getting the next task. Only after that did I regroup the crew

After which, I went to the castle to kill the named spawns. You have to kill them once for each of your toons. So 6 times each for me. Luckily they repop only a few seconds after death so it wasn't so bad. So don't stand on top if where they repop.

After collecting all the items, just run through the sequence each toon is presented. It can be different for each so there is a bit of running around if you have 6 toons like me.

For the mob inside (Unex I think) in which you just hail to see if he give the correct phrase to do the turn in, he was the same mob for all my toons. Which means you just have to search the corner rooms for to find the right one. Careful though as there is mobs in the room that will agro you if you are KOS. I found that if I stood directly over the quest mob I didn't get agro. I would unvis each toon 1 by 1 and do the hail/turn in and revis.

This is an awesome post....does anyone have any updates to share? I have yet to start TBL.

With the introduction of GMM each toon you have really only need 8 Muhbis for Visible armor slots, and then however many augs - the rest of the gear can come from GMM (rings, belts, weapons, etc) --- well at least outside of some of the tank specific high ac "security" gear
