I stumbled across a neat snippet on the eq boards that some people may find interesting, I haven't tested it so there may be some hiccups.

1) fade no longer works on mobs above a specific level
2) only primary aggro can trigger secondary aggro

if you have a cluster of mobs with a named above the level cap for fade the following should work:

1) tag a mob near the named
2) named gets social aggro
3) fade
4) trash mobs drop aggro
5) named doesn't drop aggro but named can't aggro adds because it only has secondary aggro
6) drag named to wherever

Doesn't work if you're an Enchanter since our fade wasn't nerfed. However, an Enchanter shouldn't have any problem splitting the mobs regardless. Just made it easier for everyone else :D

Heh this is even better than old school root/mez pulling.

As a non KoS in Chardok one could just target some mob next to named and pull the named to zonein with no worries.

Necro Thread (sorry)

Was this ever fixed, or is this still possible to do? As a bard, this sounds pretty amazing (and has some interesting applications I can think of off the top of my head).

I tried this with a mez-pull which used to be the same thing... mez one, and when the 2ndary aggro gets far enough away, you mem-blur the primary. It didn't work, but it could be user error because if the secondary mob gets too close then it turns into primary aggro
