Question - TBM gear for lvl 90ish toons in Heroic gear

I have my team of toons
101 warrior in CToF gear from vendors in EK
J5 cleric
90 Cleric
91 Warrior
90 chanter
90 Wizard
All in the heroic gear they were born with.

Had them in the Grounds for a while but it seems that the swarming crowd has invaded so time to move on.
wanting to gear up the heroics and my thoughts are to flag for TBM and get them some vendor gear.
I've got probably 40 to 50K remnants left from my last PL trip (105 SK leveling a group from 100).

Is TBM gear viable for lvl 90ish toons? something better out there that is as easy to obtain?

Frankly, I'd just use whatever Tier 1 droppable items you can pick up from the bazaar until they hit 105. Save the remnants for that, IMO.

I can't recall whats usable in the early 90 level range... I think fear-touched is lvl 85 required, lvl 92 recommended or whatever. I usually put heroics that I'm planning on keeping at lvl 85 in that, per Raz's suggestion on a different thread. At lvl 100 castaway opens to you and is pretty cheap in the bazaar on my server.
