Question - Target Switching request

Is there an option in KA for the TankPuller to switch targets to the closest mob? When pulling more than one mob with MA/MT it can be frustrating that KA always waits for the original mob targeted to get to camp, rather than targeting the mob that arrives first. Is there anyway to change this or could this be a potential option in the future?

I was talking to @ctaylor22 about this recently, because this is definitely obnoxious, especially if you pull with snare or a pull a caster which decides to stop and cast on you and then adds come in and eat your healer.

@kaen01 and @ChatWithThisName both had custom edits which would target the closest mob on incoming - I'd love to see this incorporated into kiss

I've noticed that too so I have a button to pause kiss so I can attack that mob that came first then restart it right away. It happens almost every time i pull multiple mobs in a zone with bad pathing which happens to be many zones. If ae taunt is up that often works too.

as a short term workaround, make social keys for:

/backoff on

and

/backoff off

You can also add dannet/eqb syntax to send these commands to whatever chars need them.
Use one, then the other and the tank will reset it's combat stuff and will reacquire targets based on what is right in front of it.

I will make a note of this. I see where if using PullerTank Role, the puller tank waits for the pulled mob to get in Melee distance before picking up the closest mob.
