I am not sure if this has be posted or not, but I recently discovered that i could get a sword of thunder for all my alts and guildies from one drop. Simply take the drop / tradable version and pass it to who ever needs the quest, once they have the quest pass it to someone else who needs. Four of us finished from the same sword a few days ago. For the alts you trade with another toon and log on your alt then have them pass it to your alt(someone you trust) or your boxed toon. Anyways just thought i would let you all know, again if this has been posted before im sorry but i did not see it.
