Subscription cost

Hey, I'm probably a newb, but the subscription cost isn't clear to me. When I look in the FAQ, it says that its $24.98/year, but when I click on the link to pay by credit card, it appears to be $39.98/year. Am I missing something, or am I just an idiot?
