STORM OF SORTS MISSION
This is what I used to level my evolving items. To run this macro as designed you will need a Monk with +1750 Heroic Dex, the reason for this is because at that number or above the monk will not take melee damage from the mobs at this level, they will though take spell damage, so as long as you have mend setup in your MQ2Melee, you should be good.

Prereqs: For setup, be in Tempest Temple in a group and next to Petran (Quest Giver) at the docks. Also will need a mesh made of the zone, and be running EQBC.

NOTE: This macro could ues some upgrades as I'm new to writing any kind of macro for that matter, but this seemed to really well for me. I used a monk and had other toons in group soaking xp for evolving items.

Are these TBL evolving items? On the daybreak forums, people are saying they only level through achievements? How are they leveling through mob death exp messages?

You need achivements to unlock their levels. IE you cannot level them past lvl 1 until you have whatever achivements needed for them.
They gain evolving xp like any other item that evolves through kills.

Ah that makes sense (although seems like alot of work , unless the item has some special clicky effect or focus that will last several expansions i.e. Twincast clicky comes to mind).

Also, whats so special about killing the dervish mobs? Couldn't you just level it on green cons or light blue cons if experience messages is all that is needed to bump up the exp to 99%? Seems like it would be faster.

its mobs with the TBL models, just happens the dervs have the same model

They are best in slot items that don't require raiding to get, and takes type 18/19 augs which makes them crazy good cause the effects on the augs make them really nice.

This is INCREDIBLE!

I modified it a little bit to run solo and also changed the delays between some of the navs so it runs a bit faster - stops me getting so many ripostes leading to summons.

Thanks SO much for this, Dborgar.

This macro definitely needs to be tuned for your own character, am glad to see others getting use out of it.

Anyone else getting True on the following line even if you are out of the last task?

/if (${Task.Title.Equal[Storm of Sorts]}) {
/goto :boot
}

Seems like Task.Title is holding a value for some period of time after you quit the task? I had to disable this check,

Task title does not populate unless you click the actual task in the quest window its weird. You have to do ${Task[Storm of Sorts].Select} so

/if (${Task[Storm of Sorts].Select}) {
/goto :boot
}
