Problem - Stop melee from running after a mob

I've looked around and couldn't find a thread asking for this. It might interfere with too many other things to try and get toons to stop chasing a mob but I was curious to know if you can maybe set the to stop chasing any mob outside the camp radius?

For example if someone decided to come fear a mob your group is fighting, and you don't want 3-4 of your toons to chase it like robots.

Another scenario I had a group wipe to a namer and upon Rez one of the toons ran into the namer right away and aggrod the whole room.

Or if the mobs is a quest npc and you're only supposed to kill it down to 15% hp.

Basically can there be a catch to make your team stop fighting outside the camp radius or some other set parameter? Without having to pause melee or kiss.

I don't think this is possible with KISS. But if it's made possible you would need to be able to clear that mob off of your extended target window or your toons are just going to stand there.

This is possible to do, but there is no perfect solution. The biggest problem is testing if the mob is feared or not, and not just running away. I have a Necro on my server , who believes he is a member of the EQ Police force, who loves to lay down his method of Justice for that's who use 3rd party apps. I have tried several methods of checking for this, but I haven't found anything that works all the time. The problem I have had is the necro's don't cast fear spells, they put down a totem that fears the mobs, and having a way to tell that the mob is fleeing because of the totem has been an issue.

If there was a ${Target.Feared} or something like that it might be possible.

Yeah I figured it wouldn't be a simple on/off kind of fix. Just thinking it might help a lot of people.

Maybe just a commmand to imitate the main assist, if I turn off attack on MA then they will follow. Suppose a eqbc hotkey is the best option here.

use /backoff. If you set this as a EQBC command you can have the whole group backoff at the same time.
