Question - Stop Assist swapping?

Is there any setting to stop characters re-assisting in the middle of the fight if the MA swaps target? i.e. so DPS finishes off a mob whilst MT/MA has switched to the next?

Solution
TargetSwitchingOn only applies to the MA, not any assisting characters. At the moment there is no way to force the Assisting characters to NOT follow the MainAssist when they switch targets.

Not sure if it will help or fix the problem, but worth a try... only tried it out because I had an issue with mobs aggro'ing that were NOT pulled, then only my MA/puller (TankPuller) would fight it... so to remedy that issue, I discovered doing...

I simply added DPS1=command:/keypress ESC|99|Once to my Tank's INI in his DPS rotation (it can be any number, I recommend putting it in after your "threat" spells/AAs)

using this basically acted as a reset for the crew as if my Tank had actually PULLED the mob, rather than it just aggro'ing...

I am working on a change for using the /switch command to allow for passing a parameter, to have the assisting characters Lock on to your current target. Currently there are no parameters used with the /switch command so it won't break how it is currently used.

The New /switch command will accept a 1 or 0 to cause the assiting characters to lockon to your current target and NOT switch when the MainAssist changes targets. When the mob they are attacking dies they will go back to following the MainAssist target until /switch 1 is used again.

That would be an awesome improvement. Thank you!

What I have done in the past is just turn off auto targeting and make a hotkey for the characters to /assist "playername". And use Dannet to pass the command to make them assist until I am ready for them to switch. That way my MA can do anything he wants and there is no fear for any other characters to stop attacking the current mob. Obviously always have to press a key to broadcast. It's not a perfect solution, but it does work to an extent.

Checkout the new version of kissassist where you now have a /switchnow 1 command to lock onto a mob. I was involved in testing and it works great.
