Question - stickhow behind, not always working

I have a melee class that I want to take the rear arc of mobs. Often the melee character will run up when using KISS, but then not strafe around to the back side. I need to move him forward to where he will whip around and continue fighting from the rear arc.

I have tried several different stick commands, behind, behindonce, etc. Is there a fix anyone has found to have it check more consistently that the melee character is behind the mob, and to move him if not?

In mq2melee there is a stick command that can interfere with how KA uses it. I took my stick command out of the ini file mq2melee uses and set the option StickHow in the KA.ini file to behind. This is still a little sluggish, but it has worked the best for me.

Hope this helps
