Problem - Stick not working with chase with kiss 9

Since kiss 9, my cleric and a few other casters, won't properly follow me like they did before with kiss 8, most notably if raid/group is aggrod. I have a chase hotkey for them, so i can have them move freely while using kiss and not in their camp area, then i tell them all to stick with me. when i do it with kiss 9, they won't keep targeted on me when i tell them to follow me the whole time, they'll randomly drop target now, and then just get stuck. So for now i have to turn kiss off when running around, which if i'm doing in a hostile area it can create issues. any ideas?

Don't use more than one method of movement or they will conflict.

The chase system will stop and fight if a mob gets added to XTar iirc. In that case use the afollow cmds from MQ2AdvPath instead.

I have a hotkey (again when no other movement cmds have been used) that simply makes all grp members move to my current loc, like right now.
Rich (BB code):
/bcg //moveto loc $Me.Y} ${Me.X} dist 10

This is helpful for dungeon crawling or the like. Iirc, it will pull grp mems even if in battle. You might have to issue a /bcg //stick off to make them disengage melee, which could easily be issued as line one of a hotkey.

Here is a great thread where ppl posted a lot of their group control hotkeys.

use /chaseon and /chaseoff
see if that solves your problem

What do you mean drop target?

it worked flawlessly in kiss 8, and then with kiss 9, it's having issues, that is what i'm using is chase on and off, and then i have them /stick after i do that since i lead with my puller, not my tank, and all my guys are set to chase my tank, i understand how the aggro works for kiss activating etc. guess i'll just have to figure out a different method or adjust.

when i do stick i have them all /target character and then /stick on ....then they all run to me, and i turn stick off, and they stay there, since i have /chase on. but all of a sudden, when i have them /stick on, they aren't holding my characters target, and just drop it, (like hitting escape) and then they stop running. this was the best method i could come up with, for my groups/pulling/tanking style. I'm sure theres a better/different way,

Again, that is mixing different movement control systems. You have chase pointing to one toon, and stick to another, it will conflict. In your case, you need to use the tank (with chase pointing to it) as your grp movement control toon. Stick on one toon and chase on another is going to cause issues.

Chase only follows the tank/MA so /chaseon is working

and sticking tank to other toon will cause assisting toons to target your puller

Have group assist puller

with how my play style is, i use my monk to pull, and then my tank just tanks wherever he is, or has aggro, which is why i have everyone follow him, so i can run off pulling and doing stuff, without having to worry about anyone running off to follow the monk/puller at any time, or try to assist me while im pulling/splitting etc.

I moved back to 8.5.5 for now, and it's fixed the stick issue. but that also means i'm missing out on all these new options that are being released..nooooooo lol

I have almost stopped using chase totally. I use EQBC and then on whichever toon I am running I do
Rich (BB code):
/bcg //moveto loc ${Me.X} ${Me.Y}
For me it actually work very well, even in tight areas as I run to a corned call toons to that spot, and as they move I run to next turn, an when they get to previous corner I call them again.

This even works if they are in MED MODE. They will stand up move to new loc and then sit down at new spot. LOVE IT.
