I run several toons in my normal box group and they all perform well in that environemnt. I have started to bring them to some raids and I can get the melee types to work fine, but I don't know how to "turn on" the casters. I run both an mq2mage and an mq2 chanter. I try them on assist and manual with both raid mode checked and unchecked. I have the main raid assist that is set assigned in the proper window.. How do I get them to start doing their thing?

a: please post in the correct location
b: you likely need to ensure you increase your campradius (which is the range you assist at)

raidmode requires a raidassist set in the plugin and in eq raid window
non-raidmode requires group MA set

almost certainly you have a campradius issue

there is no "turn on"

they do their stuff when they meet the requirements to do stuff

- mobs in range
- target by designated assist type person
- mobs at the health value you've set
- mana at the value you said
- options to nuke/dot turned on

Solution
Ok thank you. I did thnk it was the camp radius. For a very specific example on Shei Vintras mage was on the line at stairs at edge of encounter. I tried to increase camp radius, but it would not increase past 100. Please advise.

By options to nuke and dot on you mean options in settings checked correct?

Sorry about posting location. Will work on that.

use the slash command. the ui specifically only allows you to type 100, as more than 100 would get cut off and is an unlikely thing to type.

/mag campradius ###

/cwtna campradius ###

etc

Thank you. I need to get more used to that slash command.
