Copied from Allakhazam this is one of the best twink items in the game if you can get it to your lvl 1 alt =P

Clicks a spectre illusion at lvl 1.

You may do this quest once you have completed Noble Sivrn's task arc (ending with "Broken Lines").

Hail Noble Sivrn again.

You say, 'Hail, Noble Sivrn'

Noble Sivrn says 'Forgive me, I seem to have forgotten my promise to honor you with a token of respect for your ability to solve the puzzles that have confounded the most intelligent amongst us... Take this mask. It may seem common to the mortal eye, but for the efreeti, each mask reveals the soul of the being from whom it was created.'

Receive Platinum Efreeti Mask.

Now you will need a set of Platinum Efreeti armor, which drops off efreeti NPCs in both the static and instanced Jewel of Atiiki zones.

Once you have done so, see Noble Phren who is located right beside Sivrn in the Nobles' tower.

You say, 'Hail, Noble Phren'

Noble Phren looks at you curiously, 'Is that Platinum Efreeti [armor] that you are carrying there with you?'

You say, 'It is Platinum Efreeti armor'

Noble Phren says 'It may interest you to learn that Efreeti are not all equal in intellect. That armor you carry is a type of identifier that allows the more simple of my kind to identify one another... Although the armor you carry seems to bear odd markings, would you mind if I examined it more closely?'

Give him the Breastplate:

Noble Phren touches the strange symbols and reads, 'Azia looks to the west, and sees Izah in the far distance.'

Give him the Greaves:

Noble Phren says 'The inscription on this piece reads, 'From his corner, Kala opposes Geza in his corner.''

Give him the Vambraces:

Noble Phren tilts the armor to view it in better light, 'Caza is surrounded by seven mutual allies, and one mutual enemy directly North, while Ozah is surrounded by enemies on all sides and corners.'

Give him the Gauntlets:

Noble Phren says 'Odd, there is an inscription on this piece... 'Lena avoids the board perimeter while Jaka does not, and the Northeast remains vacant.''

Give him the Bracer:

Noble Phren reads quietly as he studies the armor, 'Meda stands neither in the East or the West, Heda stands neither in the North or the South.'

Give him the Boots:

Noble Phren says 'It seems as though someone has scribed these words into the armor itself, 'As Ena faces from North to West to South, he sees Lena, Neza, and Beza.''

Give him the Helm:

Noble Phren says 'This armor mentions our missing brother, Paza, how strange as he is believed to be dead... 'Geza stands directly East of Jaka, while Fana stands watch, awaiting the return of Paza.''

Give him the Mask:

Noble Phren studies the mask for a moment, 'The wisdom of Ateleka guides those who seek knowledge.'

Get a Token of Order (random Atiiki drop), equip ALL the pieces of armor including the mask, and go play a game of order from Mahatototarit. Disregard his text about the normal game setting and play it out according to what Phren had to say about each inscription. When you have reached the proper order, go to Mahatototarit and say, "Done."

Mahatototarit says 'A very interesting configuration, you have not exactly solved the puzzle, but you have managed to unlock a pattern that summons our lost Paza from the realm of the dead...'

Paza spawns by the game board. Hail him.

You say, 'Hail, Paza'

Paza blinks for a moment as he studies you, 'Brother, my time is short, I have done as Xanxionusus commanded... I return from the other side with this message, D`nik Belm J`cof Ghap... Etch those words into your memory, and repeat them to Xanxionusus... Aaarrraaaaahhhh... I feel the pull of the other side once again, I beg you, take my mask so that my soul is released from this torment before I am drawn over once again...'

You receive the Efreeti Death Visage mask on your cursor.

D`nik Belm J`cof Ghap!" the words fade as Xanxionusus fixes his gaze on you, "Although I am sure you acted out of ignorance, your assistance was useful... It would be best if you left now, I have many thoughts upon which to contemplate."

It is not known if there is anything further.

Platinum Efreeti Armor drops off the efreeti's in Jewel of Atikil or something like that.

there is around 200 of these already floating around and for sale on firiona vie, im guessing the efreeti armor is pretty common drop, or there is a bug to get multiples at once, many people have a few for sale at a time due to the lack of lore item tag.

price started at 1 mil about 2 weeks ago, price is now 200k or lower.

nice stats for my level 1 ranger twink, but got bored with the click after about 15 mins, the melee/casting graphics are pretty lame, but thats just imo

I have looked at this quest a few times. I guess I will head out and give it a try. I take it the quest is soloable for 75necro with preatorian gear?

this is all completely solo'able. I solo'd it with my druid. All the armor pieces you need (8) i think, drop random off trash efreeti though out Atikki. The 5 tasks you have to do are relatively easy if you understand puzzle games.

When you get the the Align 3,4,5 tasks, google Tower of Hanoi. That is the game the task is based off of. It will show you how to complete the tasks.

You also need a....
Ancient Combine Coin
Scorpion Stinger..which drops rarely off the very few scorps that spawn in the north of zone. The dervish mobs are the ph's for them. While you are there, a lvl 75 named dervish might spawn. He is super gimp to solo. He does not summon or have any ae's of any kind. Just root and rot him down or kite him. He can be snared also. He drops a decent ear ring.

Oh, and don't forget the tokens of Order and Alignment. You need 1 token of Order and probably at least 3 Alignment. You have to hand in a new token for every alignment part you do. Those also drop random off efreeti in the zone.

You may do this quest once you have completed Noble Sivrn's task arc (ending with "Broken Lines").

How hard / long is that task arc? and can you do that task arc at level 1 too?

Be prepared to camp the hell out of this... I got over 80 AA's before I got all of my Efreeti armor.

Breaking news is you only need the vambraces/wrists to complete the task. Might be something to try.

Can someone give some suggestions for those of us who are mentally challenged when it comes to spatial-math? I can NOT get past the Order mission. LOL I know WHERE the guys need to go, but I can't for the life of me figure out how to get them to those spots. I keep getting the corners in the right places...then stuck. :-( Any help would be awesome!

when you start getting towards the end, you have to look forward to not only your next move, but placement of the few ahead of that. What I did was move them around so they were in reverse order so to speak in the next row. Then I just kept rotating the wrong ones around in a rotation till then lined up the way I want them to.

Just remember when you go to do the Align portion to google Tower of Hanoi.

Also, I hope you don't only need the vambraces and wrists LOL. That does make me want to cry. I guess all the AA's I got out of farming the stuff makes up for it lol.

I haven't really tested how many moves it would take to complete it, but supposedly this should work to help with the Order quest.

Spoiler

You can edit the puzzle to exactly how your in game board looks, and then press Auto-Solve to have it run the a move by move solution to the event.

Redcents welcome :)

For the first task, can just target each of the sphynx's from anywhere in the zone and hail it, and the task will update. You don't need to get anywhere near each one. Makes that one only take a few seconds.

Breaking news is you only need the vambraces/wrists to complete the task. Might be something to try.

can anyone confirm if this is valid or not. I have a couple alts I might get this for and this could save a great amount of time. I will start on it anyway, so if I get to this point I'll confirm it one way or the other.

You need 6 total pieces of armor: helm, arms, bp, legs, boots, bracer (just 1). You should need all the armor, as the tasks requires you to hand in each piece of armor. Upon completion of this, there is an added bonus of having full plate armor that is all/all. IE an Iksar monk could equip this and use an illusion trick to have plate graphic armor on with their original gear on. Also, something interesting you can do while completing the task arc: In the first task, where you are required to hail the NPC's, you don't have to be within line of site. As long as you have the names as your target, you can hit hail from anywhere in the zone. Meaning: for legitimate purposes, you could have a feign death class run in and get the target, run out, have people /assist them to get the target, then all can hail from safety where ever in the zone. Hope this helps some.

ok, tried it with an alt, you CAN NOT complete the task with just the vambraces and wrists. You need all pieces.

Ah, someone on the bard forums said you just need a bracer... nothing else. Might want to try that... unless they fixed it.

I tried it with numerous variations since I had about 14 tokens of order from camping the armor pieces. None of them worked except for having the full set of armor on.

It may have worked possible before the 3/29 patch, but it does not work now if it ever did.

With MQ, you can just /target Soandso while outside, have people assist and then hail. I didn't move an inch when I did these hails when I realized I didn't need to stand next to them.

This was the case for nearly all of the "speak to" or "hail" portions of many of the tasks I did. I have a suspecting feeling that this will be the case for pretty much every other task out there.

I was ever so happy when I 1st saw this because I suck at math puzzles and can't get Order worked out. HOWEVER...A) This program when done puts the blank spot in the lower-right corner when the game board wants the blank spot in the lower LEFT corner when it's all done and B) The damn program is SO fast there's no way to get down to the "stop animation" button in between each move. I guess you could look at it sideways to alleviate A), but that still wouldn't fix B) :-(

then it went too fast, you should google other websites with the same type of thing on them. Some places will let you go step by step.

For the final puzzle of Order, the names should go as this...

KMF#
ILOA
NECH
DBJG

Go to the opposite end of the board from the sphinx and turn around to face him across the board. Starting in the left front corner with D....etc. The final farthest corner will be empty hence the #

The letters represent the first initial of the name of the efreeti game pieces.

will redcent if anyone can macro these (specifically align 5) lol I'm tired of losing heh

mabe base it off /echo East /west/center based on the board lay out or something. I did the align 3 and 4 easily, I get lost in the align 5 and mess up. My mom was a math teacher and I had all the answer books in high school, used to get paid for loaning the book out, was rich but now it's affecting EQ..omg!

there really is no need for it. The alignment is very easy if you just google Tower of Hanoi. That is what the task puzzle is based off of. You can then do it step by step because the website will let you do it one step at a time.

Align 3 is 7 moves
Align 4 is 15 moves
Align 5 is 31 moves

Hand in your Token, tell him how many efreetis you wish to play with, then:

Take the allakhazam post and copy it to a text file. Go to Edit -> Replace "-U" with the unused lane ("-West" "-Center" or "-East") Replace "-S" with the starting lane. Replace "-A" with where the sphinx tells you to place the efreetis.

Copy the text into your clipboard. Open /note in EQ and paste it in (you may need to make a hotkey to do this in options if you haven't assigned a key for paste).

Thanks Cocofish, and others. i fillowed the alla link and replaced like you suggested, worked fine. Thanks for the assistance :)

This is incorrect. You must collect all 8 pieces in order to complete the task becuase you have to wear them in the final step.
Pieces include:
BP -1
Wrist -1
Helm -1
Gloves -1
Legs -1
Boots -1
Face -1 - Recieved from Efreeti Sivrn in last task of quest arc.
Arms -1

Also, to answer some of the questions...

You need 2 tokens of order and 4 tokens of alignment to complete the entire quest arc.

No, you can not solo this at lvl 1...most mobs in zone are red or yellow to lvl 71. There are no lvl requirements to get in zone, or complete the quest arc, so take you uber main to kill and let your lower lvl loot.

Given the right circumstance, and pure luck, you could complete the entire quest in a day. The hardest / rarest drops to get are the legs and the helm. Once again...the face piece is given to you buy the Efreeti Sivrn. It is part of the last task in the entire quest arc.
I completed the first 5 task / games while my grp killed and looted along the way. Takes about 3 hrs total to complete the the first five quest, then you camp the pieces, then complete the last game. The game area is setup in a way that if you stand in the center area where the sphinx Mahatototarit is you will not draw aggro from the roaming mobs.

FYI...this is one of three drops in the zone that is not class specific. Make sure you take into account the -2 stat for hp and mana regen. Yes, thats negative 2.

Enjoy! :D

You can't even get the tasks until you are 70 anyway

The biggest PITA about the last Puzzle of order since I couldn't use the Hillary Java program was the last 2 lines...once I got them semi-right I referred to This Page. I hope it can help some of you :-)

I discovered a real time saver by accident today

You do only two quests, target Sivn and say "Teach Me"
Give him the Scorpion Stinger
Say the Name of the Sphinxs
Then you target Sivn and say Accept he will then give you
the Broken Lines Quest complete that quest Hail Sivn and he will give you the mask. You can skip three quests this way and also skip the farming of all them orb's. I did all three quests in 10 mins doing this method and typically someone is calling out a stinger is rotting so u dont even have to farm that

This was a good hint on allakhazam for completing Broken Lines if you need it.
Update: took me 2 more tries to successfully complete this. The first was simply to count the number of moves before each reordering.

For this walk-through, assume the pieces start in the CENTER, and you must realign them to the EAST column.

This quest is simple. As I stated earlier, there are 15 moves before the first reordering. After 15 moves, Mahatototarit moves the largest piece (gigias) into the west column. Bearing that in mind, you have to reorder the pieces back into the center column where they started, so that after 15 moves you have all the pieces back behind Gigias. The reason for this is so that there are no pieces in either the west OR the east column. This way, once Gigias is moved, it is the smallest in it's column, and will be the smallest in the EAST column, which is the next move you'll make.

Mahatototarit moves Gigias WEST.

Now you've got the four in the center column and the largest one in the WEST column. At this point, you've got eight moves before the Sphinx reorders the pieces again. Move Gigias (cuz it's all alone now) EAST (destination column). Now you've got four in the center column, and one in the EAST column. You've got seven moves left. These seven moves are used to move and reorder the pieces once again into the CENTER column, so that on your twenty-third total move, the board looks exactly the way it did after the sixteenth move (which was moving Gigias to the EAST column). Now comes the Sphinx's next move. It'll move the second largest piece (Lathik) WEST, just like it did with Gigias.

Mahatototarit moves Lathik WEST.

Now you've got Gigias in the EAST column, the three smallest in the CENTER column, and Lathik in the WEST column. You have four moves before the next reordering. The first move is to put Lathik behind Gigias in the EAST column. The next three moves are simple. Move Tiniz WEST, then EAST, then back to the CENTER, behind Medious and Simulat. At this point you've got the two largest in the EAST column, and the three smallest in the CENTER column after four moves.

Mahatototarit moves Medious WEST.

Now you've got Gigias and Lathik in the EAST column, Simulat and Tiniz in the CENTER column, and Medious in the WEST column. The sphinx is done moving pieces. Move Medious EAST behind Gigias and Lathik, move Tiniz WEST to his own column, then stack Simulat and Tiniz behind Medious. All pieces should be aligned behind Gigias in the EAST column. Now go tell Mahatototarit you are finished.

Quest completion text:

Mahatototarit says, 'Well done. You have correctly solved the puzzle.'

Kifael says, 'Hail, Noble Sivrn'

Noble Sivrn blinks in apparent amazement, 'I cannot begin to contemplate the skill required to solve such a difficult puzzle. Perhaps you could even unravel the conundrum of death itself... How one would even begin to solve that puzzle mystifies me completely.'

Kifael says, 'Hail, Noble Sivrn'

The real conundrum is getting the damn armor pieces to drop. The drop rate sucks.

Amen 30+ hrs of camping the armor and I'm considering doing this again for another toon.

Thezer you should not post as well. Just PM them and tell them to remove names. This way hopefully not to many catch it. So remove the name on your thread as well

Seems like this can solve the puzzles ok but it does it way to fast to be able to see what moves need to be made. Even at the slowest speed.

OK relaoded java app and now there is a window with the solution in it. See post below.

there is more than 1 site that explains the game. I will try to find it again, but the one I used allowed you to actually watch 1 move at a time while it solved it for you.

Did they kill the drop rate or somethin? Seems like others have done this a lot faster than I am experiencing. I have been here killing daily for over 2 weeks, and if it weren't for people calling rot drops, I'd not have half the pieces I have right now. Currently I am only needing boots for both my toons now, and if it weren't for the fact that this place is great xp and great vendor trash loot, I don't know that I'd keep at this quest. I'm finding the armor drops to be ridiculously rare. Oh and thank you for the info on skipping those quests Kyle, very much appreciated.

Both of my toons are down to needing only the gauntlets, haven't seen one drop in 50 hours of farming. Probably had two full sets rot otherwise.
