Question - Something wrong with redguides.com? (1 Viewer)

Ok so for the past 2-3 days I've had problems getting onto the redguides.com website. Mostly DNS errors being spit at me and they shouldnt (I use google DNS entries 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4).

Anyways for the time being I was able to find a way around it with a hosts file hack to make redguides.com point to your ip address. But I was wondering if anyone else was having problems.

I even dug around to find the Teamspeak server and try to get onto IRC.

Yes, I have had same problem last couple days. I don't think it is a problem with redguides, but a problem with a DNS node somewhere in the world not working properly.

We are in the middle of server upgrades. The transition has not be what we were hoping for. Hopefully it will all be resolved in the next few days.

I'm haveing problem with it sayin my account is suspended when I try to use my Internet to get on but I can get in on my phone with the 3G friend of mine haveing same problem

Thanks I'm thinking my ISP's Dns is probly where I'm geting the problems sence a friend with same ISP is geting same msg

try to set your own dns servers on your pc to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 that would be google dns servers

i was scared .. cried myself to sleep. it was pathetic. glad to see redguide not actually SUSpended...

no we moved to a new server and we shut the other one down...the new server is faster....

yeah then its just your isp dns did not update yet...cuz it sucks...isp dns always suck
