Question - Some help please

I'm playing on Ragefire
I downloaded "live"
I ran the udate.exe logged in and it updated.
I fixed the crashing issue it seems my GPU software for overclocking was not getting along with it.
I'm still really lost on how this works I've read the guides and I'm completely lost I have MQ2 loaded right now in game but where do I go from there? how do I work it? How do I set up the bot?

Hey congrats on getting MQ2 up! That's half the battle.
KissAssist is pretty automatic. Just start it so it builds the .ini file you need, then stop it. Edit the .ini file with the spells and items you want, and you're good to go.

but how do I start it? is kissassist in MQ2 or do I need to download something else?

I'm sure the guides on here are great and full of information but to a new person its very overwhelming and I have no clue what they're talking about at all I've read it 3 times now I understand zero % of it

Are you familiar with MQ2 already? If you go to the Kissassist guide, it will walk you through most.

Target your Main assist and launch the macro.
If you haven't set up your INI file for the character you are lanching with, it'll start the file and end the macro. Tab over and edit the INI file for you character. Relaunch and in business.

Rusty Cat no im not I'm 100% new to all this even everquest its self I play EQ way back in kunark days for 2 years thats it.
These guides on here I've been reading are all writtin by people who know the "lingo" and make it sounds easy but no where at all do I see "how to set up" or what is needed or anything. Maybe a quick video for new people would help?

the simple answer...ingame target your tank and type in "/macro kissassist"
You will want to rad up on the Instructions, incase you have not found it yet. You may also notice a whole section of the forum dedicated to the macro, along with various helpful posts. You may want to troll through those section, see what problems folks have run in to and how it got fixed.... what useful things folks have figured out to do and what to avoid doing.
KA is an awesome piece of work, well worth the time to get it working the way you want it to work. Like driving a car though... there are some basics you will want to master before heading out on the highway =)

There are no mercs on ragefire?

hah my apologies! Are you running just one account, or several?
If one account, you can still follow the guide, just target yourself instead of the merc and start up kissassist as "/mac kissassist pullertank"

Right now I'm testing it on a level 1 mage only one toon. Once I get it semi figured out ill run 2.
I got him to attack with /mac kissassist pullertank but he just pulls everyting including the gaurds

Also what about auto looting and does the bot auto sale when bags full?

Yup. You can move him away from the guards, or you can add the guard's names to your ignore list in kissassist_info.ini
There is auto looting if you turn autoloot on, as shown in the beginner's guide. As for auto-selling, not quite. You'll have to run yourself to the merchant, but we have macros that will sell everything you specify in your bags. Info on how to set this up is also in the beginner's guide, near the bottom.
