Question - [Solved] How to Turn Off Automated Melee Skills in MQ2

Hello. It seems that MQ2 has default automated actions for all classes, even if you have not subscribed and activated a macro for that toon. For example, even though I am manually controlling my SK, MQ2 still makes him run up to the targeted mob and auto-use taunt and harm touch and stuff.

I have not been able to find where to disable that. Could someone point me in the right direction?

mq2melee plugin
How would I modify that plugin? I am not subscribed to it, so I presume it is just part of MQ2 by default. Even so, it does not appear in my MQ2 plugin list, and doing a search for "mq2melee" in the install folder only shows a DLL that I cannot modify.

EDIT:
Oooooh, am I only able to modify MQ2Melee from / commands in game?

EDIT2:
Typing "/melee aggro=off" does turn off the automated taunting, which is perfect. It's just unfortunate that I couldn't find the ini or mac to see everything I could modify right then and there. Oh well.

Melee settings are in your specific character ini file, which should be <server>_<charname>.ini in the release folder of VV. Eg:

luclin_ilikepie.ini

In that ini you should have a header [MQ2Melee] under that you can add melee plugin commands. If you don't have the [MQ2Melee] header, you can add it and turn on/off the commands you want.

So if you added:

[MQ2Melee]
aggro=off
stickmode=off
stickrange=0

then this will turn off auto-aggro and also not run up to the mob when attacking and allow you to position etc.

You have to '/melee save' after you change settings to write them to the ini, otherwise they will just go back to default next time you load up.
