This might be my first post - not sure..... But I am sure I'm doing something wrong.

My melee folks aren't moving to the rear.

I am using MQ2Melee in the ini (until I take the time to tweak my oober level 20's .ini files).

I can use take the time to edit the inis and get them tuned, just wondering why it wasn't working.

My server_Char.ini excerpt follows:
[MQ2Melee]
assassinate=1
backstab=1
disarm=1
enrage=1
evade=1
facing=1
infuriate=1
melee=1
pickpocket=1
plugin=1
pothealover=0
resume=75
stickrange=50
stickmode=1
stickcmd=snaproll
version=8.802

On a separate note, I quit a few months ago because my old laptop I got after my 2012 deployment wouldn't run a team of 6. I downloaded MQ2EQWire - and holy balls, it's a game changer....

In your character's ini file, do you have this in the [Melee] section?

StickHow=behind

You can also do StickHow=snaproll behind and lots of other stuff.

p.s. That's in the ini file for the character and not the mq2melee ini files. So instead of in c:\whatever\MQ2\Release you go to c:\whatever\MQ2\Release\Macros

p.s. You might be able to do behind in the stickcmd part of your mq2melee file too. And you might have to type this in game to make it start doing it: /melee stickmode=1

If you have UseMQ2Melee turned on then kiss releases all melee sticking to MQ2Melee. Get MQ2Melee set up properly and you should be ok.
