Zone: South Karana

NPC: A gnolish Zealot

Loc: 2470 706 -63 .. near NK bridge

EASY MM .. 3 toons needed to get
can be done in less than 3 minutes

Task - Click 4 levers in jail to release prisoners
(right side walls.. first too right at gate.. 2nd 2 at corner.. )
kill farsoth <-- wimp

Char AA: get defensives.. and max run... rest up to you

I put one into warlord tenacity (500pt heal)

Strats:


Normal:

select 1 Cleric rest brutes

Buff with Conv

brutes run in stages.. training mobs away while last brute does the task...

Train into jail .. while one of the brutes clicks levers

prob most die ..

Rebuff

Train back to Farsoth .. NW corner..

train mobs away so last brute can kill farsoth

farsoth is a 2 hit wonder.. very easy



THE MQ2 Way

Train same AA
Warp to 456 190 13 or so ..
turn left .. click levers near gate
turn left .. go to corner .. look right.. click levers

RUN back through GATE till you see task updated

Warp to 982 32 3

Task should update

IF 50-70% health .. just die

you will have a train of mobs after you anyways

/tar far

turn on attack

/warp target

/hit armor cleave AA
then mighty strike
then cyclone blade
then others..

he will die in sec

if other mobs hitting you .

use pain tolerance and warlord tenacity

BAM all done


TO get loots

if you have enough health .. after farsoth dead.. quickly target and open chest


can not loot with agro


SO die

then
/tar corpse or /tar ornate or /tar chest
/warp target
/loot

after looting or when done..

/tar Gill
/say leave

this will pop you out right at zealot

hail zealot for EXP

EXP note.. at lvl 70 i am getting a FULL AA each run

I have taken that lvl 58 cleric and he is now lvl 65 with 10 additional AA's

exp 70 REG / 30 AA

A level 66 warrior is now lvl 70 with 50 addition AA's

EXP was 50 /50 .. now 10 REG / 90 AA

What is the level range to get the highest level loot? Will I have to ding my cleric 66? She's 65 atm...

I'm pretty sure any MM loot is in 10s, so you need to be 61 to get highest loot.

After killing Farsoth, if you die I found that /tar corpse didn't work. However, /tar ornate chest does work. Also, doing this for the first time, I received this :

who looted the item

The item depends who its looted by

the toon who loots it does not even have it when you exit the MM until zealot is hailed

IF the looting toon is 45 then they will get the lesser loot

IF the looting toon is level 70 .. they will get artifacts
 
will post my macro for this tomorrow if its still in game.

I needa atleast get some AA's from this before they nerf it..
 
i was gonna macro it .. but decided not to .. for several reasons..

1. nerf bat comin
2. GM may take a sudden interest in this MM
3. too many people around to report you

1&2 happen when it gets posted here so if you post a macro it won't make a difference.
 
Both times toons were 70 when looting and got the artifact.

There are 2 drops. I looted the artifact at 70. A friend has looted relic. Relic seems to be the rare drop.
 
relic is a rare drop, artifact is common, stats change every 10 levels 1-11-21-31, etc

stats depend on the person looting and nothing else, it's same as in all other MMs
 
i'd be more inclined to believe that the fairy MM would be getting more heat since it is macroed already. no doubt, it will be nerfed along with the SK MM - the gnome one is already nerfed......Just makes you wonder, which among the paying subscribers is the dev... :) *puts on tinfoil hat*
 
Clock mission was taken down due to a bug that gave everyone in the mission their own loot chest plus because if you had faction in sola you'd be able to just walk through it :)
 
hey hey, I've gotten 2 relics of Mal and 2 artifacts so far, just 1 more relic for my druid is all I need time for hehe. I just quit task when artifact is loot and get mission all over again. Most I've had to do this is 3 times to get Relic of Mal. Any one have info on some of the other missions? Fairy mm is getting really boring hehe.


I got really lucky on first 2 Relic drops, druid still trying after 10 attempts with Artifact as loot. BAH

WEll as long as the 70-100 people sitting in SK .. don't bother the GM's then kool

posting here is not gonna hurt crap ...

at the high point yesterday i counted 78 people sitting in SK... .who know how many in the MM too.

sony may realize that the mission is easy .. EVEN for people with out MQ2.....

i am not tallking nerf cause of MQ2 folks.. its the mission itself..

there are people who can do the mission in less than 5 min .... with 4 toons workin it..

As for loots... those are the loots i have looted above..

and the 58 cleric that looted the lesser items.. went back in at 65 and looted the top end ones

They probably wont nerf the Fairy MM anymore....just to quit people from bitching.....If you have 6 competent people in the fairy MM you could do it in less than 10 minutes no problem....But the loot reward from the SK one is ridiculous :) Re-god-damn-diculous

hmmm....nice logic. the mac is worth studying just to learn a few things. :)
 
anyway to auto run this mac and the fairy mac back to back? Like if you have 6 toons logged on and have one parked at fairy mm and one parked at sk mm and when one is finished the other auto starts other mm? heh.. would be awesome exp/aa
 
there's a lockout on MMs you can't do things back to back.

it used to be you could do both , i had a toon outside WC and one at Fairy and did them back to back , very nice fast xp
 
well, there was a lockout timer, but it was mission specific. Hence, the reason why people bounced from one mission to the other like faeire and orc. Thanks to Sony not letting players actually enjoy things they liked, they put in a universal timer like they used to have on tasks.
 
its easy to get around.. its all timing..

one grp is finishing when another grp is starting...

2AA every 40 min or so

just have the Main toon you want to get AA's not in either grp

got 3rd Relic today after only 3 attempts with artifact as loot. now my Druid has one also.

Am finishing this mission in about a minute, without looting chest of course. Once you get used to it its the fastest I've done so far and xp beats fairy hands down hehe.
