Question - Single Spell Slot for longer buffs? (1 Viewer)

Is there a way to use a single slot for longer buffs? That is, set it up so longer lasting spells are not wasting spell gems.

For example, on my SK I am keeping Skin, Shroud and Drape lines constantly in the spell gems, but would much rather free up space for 2 extra dots.

Say; unless attempting to use these buffs in-combat or reduce the delay of rebuffing with long re-cast spells, there shouldn't need to keep them mem'd. Your defined Misc gem slot will be used to mem and cast any spells called for, when they're needed. There are some exceptions to this, to prevent a healer from trying to mem instead of heal or a tank from sitting down to mem while being beat on. But this is a sure thing, out of combat, for any spells listed in [Buffs].

Try using Skin as a combat buff (keep it mem'd, put it in [DPS]), and the Shroud and Drape as regular buffs (don't mem them, put them in [Buffs]). You can add a second entry for Skin in [Buffs] if you'd like to keep it running between fights.

The only thing is that it seems to always mem your per spell in gem 5 if you don't have it in another slot.
