I decided to post my latest version of Shambot here.

1. Download the files below into your /macro folder.
2. Run Shambot /mac shambot for the first time.
3. Edit the ini file Shambot creates in your /macro folder ShambotToonname.ini
4. /mac shambot and enjoy

Shambot 4.0 was built over ioncaches Shambot 3.33 that he posted on MMOBugs as duskedge June 18th, 2008. I have recoded some parts, mostly the buff code, and tried to keep the code that has worked so well for so long. I have looked to previous versions of Shambot for ideas, predefined spell list, in returning the macro to what I thought made it so friendly.

The core macro has been tested in various stages for about 10 weeks,

Any ideas or codes improvements are welcomed as long they are constructive.

~ Removed all coding for MQ2Moveutils.
It was originally not well intregated into shambot. The new code compensates for ninjaadvloot and camp funtions.
I have added and simplified establishing a camp for the shammy. This is mostly for if your shammy is looting and you want them to return to camp area.
docamp=0 is no longer relevant in the ini file under the Shaman heading you can delete it.
/docamp or /tell shammy camphere
will now toggle the shammy to establish camp where they are standing and leash the shammy to that spot within the radius you set with the new variable under the Shaman heading
  • CampRadius=30
~Removed MercHealMode was buggy and experimental
~Added group heal support.
Mainly for the new shammy spell Qirik's Recourse but it should work with any of the group heal over time spells as well.
Shambot will check both group health total using the GHealGroupHealth varialble default 75% and tank health using the TankGHeal variable default 45
A new mem spell order is used with DoGHeal. SpellGHeal uses gem 11 and listless line now shares gem 8 with dot2,

There is one MAJOR addition.
This when turned on will keep your group buffed with the single buff list and sbuffs in the buffomatic. It will not work with in any way with Dogroupbuffs on and vise versa. Use this for your low level shammy to buff the entire group with single target buffs.

Example:

GHealGroupHealth=60
3 group members health 100% + 73% + 30% = 203% total group health
Number of group members 3 + 1 = 4
Total Group health / number of group members + 1 203/4=50.75
50.75<60=TRUE so shammy would cast group heal if defined

~ 2 new variables to control healing puller. Shambot automatically assigns anyone with a puller tag in group windows as puller. Pretty much ignored healing this toon until now.

HealPuller - Turn puller healing on and off. If on shammy will heal puller only when with range according to PullerHealDistance and will never heal if puller is Feigned Dead. Uses defined % health values by class in healing section.

/declare PullerHealDistance int outer 20

I love this auto shammy and I use it every single day. I only have one strange request. Is there away to currently add in the use of Group pact? it's an 11 minute group buff that turns everyone into werewolves basically. I love using it but switching over to click it every 11 minutes sucks and there's no "extended pact" aa yet and 11 minutes just sucks.

Sorry if this sounds like a dumb question, but I have no ability to program and I tried fiddling with it but I don't have the slightest idea how to add in the ability to use that aa buff.

Thanks for all the great work already put into this mac.

I never added that because its very hard to keep track of. It doesn't over write the shammys aa so they don't know when to recast it. Let m think about it see if I can figure something out.

use a timer type variable and set it for like 11 min 5 seconds (for transfer delay) use another variable to see if you want to use the buff and if you do and the timer is 0 or not there, then cast and redefine/reset the timer.

Well it's probably too tricky, and what I do is even more complex. Since his personal version gives him 1600 hp/mana and the group one just gives everyone 500/500 I block the group one on him and just use his personal one. Everyone else still gets the group one. So for it to work the way I want, it seems like it would be almost impossible because he rebuffs according to his lost buffs right?


EDIT: I also miss that the version that would only cast old unity, worked outside the group when needed. This one doesn't do that for me, work outside the group that is. /sad panda :( Sorry to sound so newbtastic today.. lol.

I really like this macro, but is there a way to disable movements and /face the mob thing- it looks too suspicious to my liking and since my shammy wont melee theres no need for it

I have an issue with the mac. concerning the I'm here tell and the Greet voice tell. I have verbose and verbose tell set to 0 hoping it would make him stop all tells. He still spams me every time i restart the mac. I even opened the mac itself and checked that they were set to 0 not just in the INI. Any way to just remove that also?

Check your heal settings an make sure your heal spells are spelled correctly

Shambot only uses mq2moveutils
Clickys section is only for buff items.
Epic is built into shambot DoEpic2=1 in your ini file to use it.
No support for the time clicky :(

Can you give a in-depth description of the Buffomatic section? I've managed to get it to do all the buffs, and it buffs each person.. but is there a way to designate classes for specific buffs or what not? I'm on progression so can't just groupbuff everything and forget it. If there was a way to assign buff categories via the bot or control character so that I'm not casting haste on casters and such would be cool, or if I'm totally missing something and someone wants to point it out that would be cool too :).

Shambot shouldn't be casting haste on casters the code block below should prevent it. Also I updated shambot a year before the progression servers came out and was never updated specifically for them. You might encounter some weirdness.

Ah ok, yeah never encountered it specifically hasting casters, but it was hasting the shaman who should be sitting on his duff medding anyways, but with your code quote if I just add in SHM there should skip casting it on him yeah? Hopefully that should solve my issue :D, and thanks for the super quick reply.

Have a issue when trying to start shambot with titanium on an emu server i get a looping error of, text is red: No such 'spawn' member 'Hovering',
No such 'character' member 'Xtarget' and No such 'groupmember' member 'Puller'. I changed the shambot.ini file to spells and buffs for a level 62 sham. Anyone know what i'm doing wrong?

With those errors shambot won't work on Titanium and they are too integrated into the macro to recode without a ton of work. Sorry.

How can I get Virulent Para. (AA Root) to fire? I put in in as the root spell, but that does not seem to work, at least he never casts it even when set at 95%

First off, I'd like to say Shambot is amazing. That and KissAssist are definitely my two favorite macros. Right now I'm boxing my SK, level 79 and Shaman 80 doing the Recruit a Friend offer. Everything is working flawlessly, but for some reason I can't get Virulent Paralysis to go off even with Root=1 and several other settings tweaked around but nothing I've set has been casting the root. I also tried with regular spell cast roots and those were not working either, any suggestions?
