I have a series of problems on my 120 shaman:

My shaman will work perfect sometimes, malo slow dot dot dot... exactly what i want it to do

work poorly others, slow and malo all the mobs but do nothing... no dots, etc. This is generally when I pull 2+ mobs at once.

and do absolutely nothing other times but target an add and do nothing. This gets even worse when mobs despawn, or go non agro. will no longer switch targets.

That behavior normally happens when you have your MeleeDistance set to low, but I can see that shouldn't be the issue. The other time I have seen this is when the character is out of group from the MA/Tank and not getting the MA's Called target.

My MA is set. It assists MOST of the time... it just doesnt like multiple adds and sometimes just malo's and slows.

Edit: Bard switches, wizard does not have an issue, its the shaman switching back and forth between healing and dps modes.
 
@Myysterio is your shaman your primary healer. Why not try setting your HealInterval in the ini file to HealInterval=5 and see if that helps. Shaman will do little more than heal if you have them doing everything they can. When you get a few mobs in camp this becomes very apparent.

No... its basically being used as a druid who can malo and slow.
 
Then try my suggestion and set your HealInterval=5. What HealInterval does is delay calling heals after exiting heals, for a specified number of seconds. This gives time to the other routines to be called. Most spells take at least 3 seconds and with Global spell gem cooldown of 3 seconds, it lets at least 1 spell to be cast. You can bump up the HealInterval as you like, giving the shaman more time to do something other than heal.

where is the discription for healinterval? I can see where its added, but its not on kissassist.com

Set heal intervals and still having the issue where it wont transfer to mobs. Played with everything from 1 to 5.

This worked to get it to switch to dots more often, however, i have this stupid issue where it will get stuck on bosses and named mobs and refuse to switch targets. /backoff, /switchnow, etc. do not work. Restarting KA works for a few seconds, then it just goes back ot the mob and gets stuck again. Wont switch off.
 
I am having similar issues with my shaman, druid and cleric as well. I went into my ini's and turned on debuff and set the debuff tags and that helped, but for single mobs not multipule mobs. This is not the case on my chanter, just the healers. The only difference is i have xtarget heals turned on with my healers so maybe that is the issue. I know that if i dont have my xtarget window set with team members in the spots designated my healers try to heal the damn mobs, lol. I just cannot get my healers to do anything but heal. This is new, it was not like this a month or so ago. They just heal and no dps at all except for items set to |Weave. No clue what is going on. I have gone over my ini's and fixed supposedly case sensitive tags and still only works kind of on single pulls.
I want my shaman to cast Renewing Counterbias, then talisman of the lion, then Feralisera, then bite of the grendlaen, then hiworks spear of venom, then ice mass if he is not healing but he is not, will get feralisera off sometimes on single mobs.
Just cant wrap my head around why it is doing this now.

My cleric will no longer cast the blood of the adherent lines or mark of the righteous lines now either, so odd.
 
I had that issue when i had items in the burn section. I stopped using it and instead added the items to my DPS section and control them using a condition that checks if it is a named mob or not.

By the process of elimination i have found the issue, for mine at least. Have to have xTargetheals=0 for it to work. Not sure what has changed on the back side of the program over the last few patches but i cant use xtargetheals if i want my healers to cast dmg spells.
