selo's song of travel...

so when i /twist and play selo's song of travel, it stops after 1 go around. this just started happening today......i'm guessing it's something stupid that i'm missing, but I havent been on in like a week so maybe something changed.

has something to do with KA...when i turn it off or pause it, it twists fine

/twist hold # is what you want to use for your bard to keep the song going.

I think it's /twist resume (could be wrong, I'm not at home to check) to get normal twist going again.

if that works than something changed, bc /twist # used to work fine.

I am not 100% sure, but I think /twist # works the same as /twist once # in that it only weaves it into one twist.

If you're just wanting to twist the one song (in this case, an invis song), you can just /twist 1 (or whatever number SSoT is loaded). It should always try to re twist on interruption until you /twist off.

If it's not working, I'd check your ini's or something.

*edit from what I'm told, from the latest update, song of travel doesn't recast. I haven't downloaded the newest compile yet though. I'm still using the one from the 21st.

Kiss won't twist while you are invis. So if you are running Kiss it is probably shutting it off so you don't break invis. I didn't even think anyone ever uses that song anymore with caster perma ivis aas etc.

We use it because its easy to remove from the whole grp without having to touch each one... just stop singing it. I suppose a hotkey could be built to remove Grp-Perm-Invis from everyone using EQBC but still, SSOT is easy and doesn't require code heh.

Ah that makes perfect sense, and that's why /twist hold works I suppose. I still use selo's song of travel out of habit sometimes, even though I have a social that casts a fresh selo and double invis. edit: I also keep forgetting how awesome the new KA bard is. Mine used to break his invis with twist pretty often but not anymore.

so twist hold doenst work either now with kiss...

anyway we could get this reverted back ASAP? or some work around so i dont have to pause KA to use selos. This was just added in the last week or so.
