Question - Secondary group assist ihcmerc

I’m trying to figure out how I get the second group to assist the tank in the main group, once one starts attacking the target everyone joins in. But I either have to make a macro specific for them to assist and attack and press everytime, or have bard in the second group.

I think you need your group on the hate list.
So you could have the healer aggressively heal, an enchanter put a rune on the tank.
Maybe you could have both tanks in the main group.

I’m running ihcmerc for all the boxes in that group

Can you do your own songs in IHCBard? Have the bard run Chorus, it's AE Raid spell and you'll get aggro.

Alternatively, if you run KA on whoever gives targets for 2nd group, you can use the above tips, like running a Heal (|MA or xtarget) and group will always get aggro.

I’m thinking I’m going to have to run KA on one of them, this works for the bard way, but the bard has to be in secondary group, and the zerk doesn’t benefit from all his good stuff

Is there a healer in 2nd group that can splash? Cleric/Pal/Sham can all do an AE heal that would get aggro too. I'm not super familiar with IHC's bring your own spells stuff though.

Another way would be to get an MQ2Melee holy that fires an AE aggro ability if you have some number of mobs nearby, or even directly assist/attacks.
