Question - Scouting Ahead

The path file and the macros have to be in the macros folder. I had that problem when I first tried using the macro.

Thanks that would probably explain it I will give that a go....... it works much better now he isnt running into the wall thanks..... also I just have the my tank, the SK, instead of go tank mode I have him start as hunter mode... so as long as I am on bard and can stop the bard form pulling he doesnt die from his squishyness and the SK pulls. And I have the CHanter set to chase the SK to mez for him........... maybe that can help some who have a SK and Chanter already until they can get a bard running it.....

Remember to set the Bard's Xtarget1 to look at the tank's current target. The macro will work to mez starting from Xtarget2 onward. If you do not have xtarget1 looking at the tank's target, mezzing gets messed up, even with a chanter in the mix. The Bard will mez things it should not. This is yet another problem I have tun into. :)

and how do I set this up correctly? or where do I set it up at? this way I know for sure I do it the right way please

also my other problem is when my bard gives the command to move my tank I get the error failed to //moveto loc >whatever the loc is<

To set up mt's target, first assign main tank using the leadership functions. Group leader assigns mt, ma and puller. Then, on your bard, right click the first slot in the xtarget window. Select group tank's target from the menu.

As for the error, did you put the name of the tank in the top section of the macro? The move command could be changed manually too. I think it has /bct ${TankName} or something like that.

yes I set my tank up in the first part where is says /declare TankName string outer TANKNAME.... I replace TANKNAME with my tanks name.... I see the bard tell the tank to move but after it gives the command it says error unable to do command //bct TANKNAME /moveto LOC

You can do a "/plugin list" command and make sure mq2moveutils is listed as a loaded plugin. If it is not, use the "/plugin mq2moveutils load" command to load it up. or perhaps if needed on all the toons, "/bcaa //plugin mq2moveutils load".

Still working on the SK version, though I have managed to modify Blitters original bard one to pull Into the Hills and move the group efficiently. (Don't play the bard much though with the chanter version going.) The only problem I'm having with the SK is mine isn't very meaty and I don't play him with a mezzer, so pulling is a little slower. (At the moment making him tank any two that come, and feign off/get over here/fade split when necessary. We'll see how it goes as he gets meatier.

man since you made the chanter version i am super excited. it works great i always have my chanter and sk together so im fine without SK pulling. i understand now why it needs to be a bard/chanter.
