I've been using this area to tweak settings and get my box team organized and working the way I want.

In Sanctum Somnium (towards the east) is an area with "a giant warrior" and "a giant warrior veteran" as well as the occasional "giant warlord". The warriors are 91 and the warlord is 94.

The area around their spawn is relatively safe as there are only the giant mobs and a group of kobold mobs which aren't KOS to players. (a kobold skirmisher, a wounded kobold)

Add the kobolds to the "mobs to ignore" list and you can simply pull the giants and grind away.

In the above graphic, there's an empty room in the "to main part" area where I typically set up my campfire.

I started with a camp by #1 which works fairly well but sometimes leaves mobs that aren't line of sight.

the area by #2 has similar issues occasionally and is where I've seen the "a giant warlord" most commonly.

#3 is about the center of where the mobs spawn. I've had decent luck starting at #1 or #2 and then when the spawns are spread out well moving to #3.

The southeast corner is a "giant fort" type building and I haven't tested using mq2navigation to pull from inside the fort.

The entrance has 2 guards which depending on level / group it may be wise to try and split the spawns instead of dealing with regular double pulls.

One other unique circumstance that may play well for some, the kobolds are KOS to the giants and lower level. You may be able to pull the giants to the kobolds and let the kobolds tank for you or at least provide free dps.

One downside, this is an "inside" zone so no mounts.

This is a great spot for Level 90 to 95 (Probably doable before 90 depeding on gear / group ).

Imo the best spot for those levels. At 95 xp really slow down because lots of mobs become lightblue.

It is very hidden and MQ2Nav works great. The only problem is getting there, lots of zones to go throught and Morell's Castle has see invis and really small bridges/stairs to get throught

I also pull the kobolds because there is not enought giants.

Nice pp drop also, lots of diamonds and level 90 spells.

I ended up making a custom mesh because I didn't like they way the puller would try and go over the wall. But it has worked great started here at 90 probably could of started here closer to 88 if my tank was better.

If you show up in SS and someone else is there don't be a douche. Go over to the farm area on the exact other side of the map, there is a similar amount of mobs or more.

Good advice. I passed through a few CoTF zones yesterday on my server and saw some afk groups (I'm looking at you, EK and DH) while looking for a suitable place to set my guys up. I left them alone, with the exception of doing some in-zone /who's to see what levels and group makeups people were using. I find anything posted here is usually camped, which is opening yourself up to griefing if people are assholes. Fortunately, I think that's the vast minority of folks here. So far the community here has been super welcoming and cooperative.

Ive been doing SS religiously for a while, and with my group I can clear the giants so it's not really an area you share.
I've come to really like the farm as an alternative, there are more mobs there and similar open field set up.

I have really enjoyed this spot since I am a filthy casual and I have never been bothered here. So far I have leveled up my crew to level 104 from level 93 here, slowly but surely, at camp 1 shown above. The only advice I have is if you are using a bard in your group do not use their health/mana regain songs. When your puller pulls a giant that is fighting a kobold, the giant will have an opportunity to summon the bard after the kobold is dead since he will be getting aggro from the puller having the health/mana song ticking on them. This typically resulted in my bard passing away and then being out of range for a rez. Thanks to all the previous posts for their fine work!
