How are there even items worth duping that warrant the account risk involved? =P

I'll say, considering that kronos all have a unique item id tied to them lol =P

The best time to dupe the items would be during the midnight hours. At least you'll have 4 - 5 hrs to offload them before they get into the office in the morning and ban you.

i know i somehow ended up with double my starting bags food ect no idea if whatever happened there somehow goes into a bigger dupe loop i usually hear about them after there closed up

Yeah, I would not buy any krono for a little while until they get this fixed out. If you start mixing in duped krono with your regular krono, they may start tracking down previous possible RMT stuff.

But yes, there are bugs with possible item dupes out there currently.

And people jumping to conclusions without any proof or being easily deceived, and spreading the "hearsay" around.

I'm not saying it isn't possible, but its extremely hard to do especially involving Krono. These exaggerations keep coming up everytime there is a mass influx of Krono in the market around the time of a new server or expansion launch.

Daybreak has a tight leash on Krono's and more often its usually that people keep spreading these wild rumors/accusations about dupes, then there actually be any real dupe.

Only "time" I know of a dupe occuring on TLPs is when they allow server transfers. The Ragefire/Lockjaw situation when there was a dupe was specifically when they allowed transfers. On Ragefire it also really wasn't a 'dupe' then so much as it was people transfering to Zek and getting a bunch of plat given to them and then reporting themselves and saying they chose Zek instead of Lockjaw and they asked if they could be moved servers (again).

I'm not aware of any dupe/exploit that has occured outside of the one involving server transfers in the last 5 years or so.

The only dupe I am aware of is one that happened when Underfoot went live, and peopled duped the Underfoot and past expansion raid/group currencies and being banned for manipulating/spoofing the server to think you had more than you did.

There was a "Dupe" and it happened to me. Because of the server issues on Day 1, if you crashed trying to login after creating your character, it seemed to create another copy of everything in your bags. I had 5 Backpacks, 5 Daggers, 5 Lanterns, 5 of each Food, and 5 of the Notes to give to my guild master. Not a single thing you could use to get any sort of money, as everything is No Trade. As far as I know, that was the only "Dupe" that was happening, and it's fixed now.
