Question - RGU 1.3 issue

I have done a complete reinstall of Eq, and MQ2 to try and resolve my incredibly ridiculous crashing issues (almost every time I zone).

I downloaded everything fresh.

When it comes to RGU 1.3 it just will not run at all. The program pops up in my taskbar, but it won't display on the desktop and so I cannot update MQ2. I downloaded RGU 1.1 and that works. I use win 10.

Any suggestions at all?

Get rid or Windows 10...
I've had updater issues, usually (for some odd reason) if i rename it, it shows. It might have something to do with your virus/malware software, or windows defender ... could try turning them off and running the updater...
Have you tried reinstalling EQ?

I like Windows 10. Better than 8.1.

Changing the name to rgu.exe worked.

Weird.

Rg updated will only run for me if I put the .exe in a new directory each time I use it. So I always just make a new folder in my downloads, rename it something random and then run it.
