Question - Returning player from 2018 - Kissassist or?

Started Everquest up again and wanted to use my old Kissassist scripts, which functioned well under Empires of Kunark, but stuff must have changed as everything seems broken.

Been testing the newest KissAssist and muleassist, where Muleassist has this nice GUI which help greatly, but constantly running into issues with the macros. Missing variable, and more like that.

Is anyone able to kick me in the right direction of getting a kissassist/muleassist up and running for a 110 SK, 105 Wiz and a 109 Bard. Running with 2 healers and a nuker merc.

howdy neophys,

both kissassist and muleassist work great, and which one to use is needs and personal preference - both have been receiving updates and should allow you to transition into macroquest "Next" without a hiccup.

eqmule doesn't appear to have plans to port over MQ2Mule to MacroQuest "Next", but MAUI is a wonderful replacement for it which continually receives updates and improvements

each of those 2 macros have a forum subsection, so if you had a specific question, or wanted to resolve a specific failure like your aforementioned missing variables, you would want to post in those sections and articulate your needs there.

Each of them also has an ini library that you can look at other inis that folks have shared with the community

yup. mori has been using next exclusively for a while now

Went with MQ2Next as suggested and started all over with ini's for the SK. It seems to work decently atm. WIll try some predefined ini files for muleassist to see if i can get a headstart

good call on trying next out the gate - it is just "MacroQuest" or "MQ" or "Next" tho, no 2
