Question - Returning player - few questions

So I'm returning after about 4 or so years off. I have a 94 warrior with only like 1800 Aa and a 82 Shaman. I'm wondering if it would be best to just start from level 1 with a full 6 man group or try to play the War and Shaman with mercs. I will be running this kiss assist macro.

Just looking for some feed back from you guys that have been playing this whole time.

Also, while shaman will synergize much better with melee, afnuke wizzies are just too smexy to not have in group!

Around here there are a few guides to assist with some leveling questions so be sure to check those out.

When I came back and did basically what you are doing, I went with using the hatching a plan quest, up through 70 and followed some of the suggestions by eqmule and others for some assistance. I ran with no real tank, so I had to do more manual labor probably on some of those. It was nice to go from almost heroic level to 105 though, I think it saved quite a bit of time. Also doing what Raz suggested is 100% spot on.

It was super quick, as others mentioned in other leveling threads to get to 70 ish, and from there I had to do more manual things instead of sk swarming since I didnt have a sk to swarm with. All in all, not very long and thanks to the awesome people on the board for sharing stuff because it was really nice to have that info so try to search for it anytime you get stuck.

Thanks for the feed back. I was able to find my Nerco info also so I have a 91 Nerco as well. Using war Nerco Shammy and adding a cleric and a wizzy (cuz I've seen how much y'all love them) what should I do for my last class? Would a bard be the way to go for mez and pulling?

I am personally much more fond of casters over melee, so I would go with enchanter. I also run with a bard now thanks to a friend quitting and I like the enchanter more but thats more of a personal preference. I think either or would be a great addition.

tough call.

I run nec, war, bard, shm and I'm generally happy with it. If you plan on a lot of places with multiple pulls, ench is slightly better at CC than bard and brings better synergy with wiz / nec / cleric.

unfortunately, ench has more overlap with shaman than bard and the ench is of less benefit to shaman and warrior than bard (imo).

I believe either can be made to work well it's just a matter of preference.

If I'm going to be making more guys from level 1 then I'm not dead set on having to keep the Shaman. If a enc would be better in the long run I'd want to go ahead and make that as I'm doing the others. I'm really at a open slate and not dead set on any of the toons.

I would do bard or chanter, you cannot underestimate the joy of seeing 6 things standing politely in line for you to slaughter them... sure beats the alternative of 6 crazy fuckers swarming your tank!

Would the Nerco be able to pull well with the afk features in kiss?

I have used both a mage and beastlord to pet pull with and it works wonderfully for me. Not sure how necro pet compares to beasty and mage, but losing a pet to pull the mob is much easier to deal with than losing any PC class.

I've been doing a lot of research on here on how to level these new guys. I seen the bone chip macro to get to 52 but I don't see anything after that to get everyone to 70 so they can group with the warrior. I've decided to replace the shammy with a enchanter and then adds a mage,wiz, and still thinking on the last. Any ideas?

You have the Trinity so it would depend on personal preference really. Another Wiz or Mage goes well with the chanter.

I've done everything i can think of to get memory usage down but it still at 800k. I've never seen it this high I'm use to seeing around 200k from my emu accounts.....help!!!
